So what? I mean, “my art sucks” (it does not, but for the sake of the argument let’s pretend i actually think it does), so? what? what’s your point? 

I’m perfectly aware of the (many) flaws everything I draw has (trust me ksdkkjss i am), because, guess what: i’m still learning (and will forever be) !!! So, yeah? maybe the way, I don’t know, I draw hands -for example- sucks, or hair or whatever. I know it does? but i also know i’ll eventually get better at it? 

I can’t really see my art being “bad” as something truly negative because 1) i’m not delusional and i’m fully aware of it. i accept it. i’ve made peace with that fact. everyone’s art “sucks” at one point or another. it’s completely normal. 2) it just means i have stuff to learn! and i will get there! with time! 

If you’re feeling insecure about your art just know that you’ll get better. I spent years not being proud of anything i drew (actually being ashamed of it and not showing it to anyone because i was extremely self-conscious ksksks. fun fact, my parents don’t even know i draw fanart at all and they’ve never seen my fandom art. none of my irl friends know either or have ever seen my drawings!) but i knew i’d eventually get to a point where i’d look at my art and think, this is ok. It’s still not as good as i want to, but it’s ok. And someday it’s not gonna be just ok, someday it’s gonna be good! 

That’s the cool thing about art! You can only get better! So what if it sucks today! Tomorrow it will suck a little less, and the day after that it’ll maybe be good!
