hey girl, don't cry (too much). we fought 'em to second OT and made 'em pay through the nose for the privilege, and set a new record for goals in a short period of time while doing so
(on a more serious note, I wanted to say I've appreciated your liveblog comments and 'don't cry' wrap summaries since I started following the sport this year. hope you enjoy a consolation beverage of choice, and here's to boston next year <3)

#pwhl lb#fleet lb#pwhl#God I’m so devastated#we were so close#genuinely though we did so much better than anyone expected of us#no one preseason expected us to make the playoffs much less do what we did this season#and I’m trying really hard to not take that for granted#we had a great season from our rookie class#overall outstanding performances by Keller Müller Frankel and Eldridge by the end of the season#At the end of the day only one team can win their last game of the season#that’s just the way sports work#this season gave us so much to be excited about and to appreciate and it makes me really excited for our future#we went from no coach missing the playoffs losing our top scorer to this#that’s really impressive!#i am glad that you appreciated my hey girl don’t cry posts bc they were born of a dark time and they remind me how far we’ve come
