This week has been unnecessarily dramatic and exhausting

My patients? All manic, in psychosis, not taking meds, relapsing, in the hospital, on the ledge, wild

Me? Falling apart. I started with UTI symptoms Monday, left work early Tuesday to go to the doctor, started having the same symptoms when I found out I was pregnant last time, started bizarre/ less effective antibiotic due to possibility of being pregnant, started to have side effects from the antibiotic. Thursday, symptoms start to seem more PMS, still too early for pregnancy test, got my flu shot, absolutely exhausted, achey, whiny all night. Today? Fatigue, exhausted, emotional, negative pregnancy test, but no period, AND I got a call from my PCP that my urine culture results are antibiotic resistant, only reactive to an IV antibiotic. So if I "feel bad over the weekend, go to the ER for antibiotics" or wait until Monday for another urine culture

So are my current symptoms UTI, post flu shot, PMS, pregnancy, or just whiny exhaustion. Am I going to spread to full blown kidney infection? Am I ignoring symptoms to get through?

And tomorrow is my son's second birthday party and I'm emotional that so many less people are coming to his second than his first, he deserves all the friends in the world, little humans deserve to be celebrated, is he already being forgotten, etc. Also sad that we don't have big families that are close and involved, all of our extended families are out of state, and it's sad to not have that community But he's two! He won't notice that he only has a few friends over to play! It'll just be another great day for him.
