Well, they did have their own AI allegations around the Hate This Song video which Alex denied and poked fun at but I don’t think that convinced people. I’m now blanking on exactly what he was saying on their Fall tour last year that was all about going out and supporting local scenes, bands, establishments but part of me feels like their was something anti-AI in that? I could very much be projecting a conclusion that wasn’t verbalized though because I can’t remember.

Can we PLEASE talk about the casting for Harris and Troy in Heated Rivalry season two?! Justice and Charlie are genuinely perfect. I’ve loved Justice ever since Paper Towns, and I’ve been absolutely living for seeing Julie and the Phantoms make such a resurgence since Charlie’s casting. It has been so much fun watching people rediscover him all over again.

And honestly? I just cannot wait for everyone to fall in love with these two the way so many of us already have. On a more serious note, it also means so much to see a queer actor getting to tell a queer love story. ❤️ That representation matters, and it makes this casting feel even more special.

It's so crazy to me that Good Charlotte has always, always been this fully clowned on, mall punk thing that frankly, deserved the jokes because of how totally corny they were. But they would get a pass from anyone who dealt with them for 5 mins because they had such a great reputation and seemed earnest. Even with celebrity wives and wealth that they got famous for shitting on!!! So that dichotomy was charming when they always generally seemed like good dudes (Joel/Hillary aside. which is BAD but also, 1 bad? that no longer seems that bad when she's cool with him? idk man we got bigger fish). So watching them go down like this fucking sucks. Villain shit in a world where trying to make a profit at all is going to make you a villain because there is no middle in anything anymore. I appreciate these different dudes' opinions on things so attaching.

I’m doing zero due diligence to actually look into this dude and I know we’ve talked shit on Zack’s questionable as fuck adjacency to republicans before but this does not surprise me. None of the guys or people they’re decidedly close with would I assume to be maga freaks. Voting badly? Abso-fucking-lutely no question. But fully in the shit? Nah. Zack extremely gives me middle road will listen to “whoever is making the best points” guy. Which, always, that sucks and is a fucking privilege. But those types of people are not going to hard line anything and the best we can hope for is swaying when it matters. Which feels dumb as fuck and unsatisfying.
