Fors travelling around and then one fateful day in a random forest far far away from the Great Hall she finds Xio. Xio is bleeding out and injured. The nearest village it too far away even with sylph shoes and it doesn't guarantee that there is a doctor. Fors does not have the tools to properly treat Xio and in the first place as an witch she is not supposed to have any medical knowledge.

But this is Xio. She may be one of the Knights Moralis but this is her Xio.

So Fors bandages her up and uses one of the better healing spells that Emyln and her managed to create. And she is prepared to face Xio's wrath, she is prepared to say goodbye to her peaceful life and be known to be a brimhat because at the very least Xio will live to hate her.

And Xio is left with the choice to either erase the memories of her girlfriend best friend or betray the pact that she is sworn to uphold. But what does Xio do?

She erases her own memories of the incident.

And it happens again.

And again.

And Fors tries to convince Xio not to erase her own memories, to not leave her again, to not run from this secret that Fors wants to trust her with. And it works. A few weeks Fors hugs Xio and kisses her and walks with her with no secrets between them.

And then she wakes up one and realises that Xio did it again.

idk if grishaklein is a popular ship or not, but holy its some interesting dynamics. lets start off with the most obvious part, time differences, grisha existed sometime during the soviet era during the cold war, and klein calls himself a keyboard warrior, so he's def a gen z kid maybe millennial if we're pushing it. There is legit, no room for them to meet and fall in love, unless klein falls in love with a picture of grisha or sm like that.

The next time grisha appears is second epoch, and then he pretty much stays until the end of the third epoch after which he splits, divinity into adam, humanity into sasrir that becomes the true creator. So I'd say late second epoch to third epoch is the most possible time for grisha to fall in love since Adam's lack of humanity and the true creator's overwhelming humanity doesn't exactly create a good candidate to fall in love. and since by the time of the second epoch he's solidified his power, dealt with (most) of his problems and has a plan in place to deal with god almighty overall he's feeling pretty good about life.

But obviously in our canon story, zmr doesn't exist until the fifth epoch, that's where grishaklein has to get a bit creative. well there's a few fanfics with a meeting during the pre-epoch where grisha lives during the modern era instead, very nice yearning i see in those fanfics. I also do see a few fics set during the 2-3 epoch, in the chinese side of the fandom (check out lofter yall, it'll change your life if u wanna read lotm fanfics) but i see klein emerging as a true god in those, so I raise an idea, klein as a rising demigod, who eventually becomes a koa, or a true god?

ZMR might actually be older than Grisha!
