idk if grishaklein is a popular ship or not, but holy its some interesting dynamics. lets start off with the most obvious part, time differences, grisha existed sometime during the soviet era during the cold war, and klein calls himself a keyboard warrior, so he's def a gen z kid maybe millennial if we're pushing it. There is legit, no room for them to meet and fall in love, unless klein falls in love with a picture of grisha or sm like that.

The next time grisha appears is second epoch, and then he pretty much stays until the end of the third epoch after which he splits, divinity into adam, humanity into sasrir that becomes the true creator. So I'd say late second epoch to third epoch is the most possible time for grisha to fall in love since Adam's lack of humanity and the true creator's overwhelming humanity doesn't exactly create a good candidate to fall in love. and since by the time of the second epoch he's solidified his power, dealt with (most) of his problems and has a plan in place to deal with god almighty overall he's feeling pretty good about life.

But obviously in our canon story, zmr doesn't exist until the fifth epoch, that's where grishaklein has to get a bit creative. well there's a few fanfics with a meeting during the pre-epoch where grisha lives during the modern era instead, very nice yearning i see in those fanfics. I also do see a few fics set during the 2-3 epoch, in the chinese side of the fandom (check out lofter yall, it'll change your life if u wanna read lotm fanfics) but i see klein emerging as a true god in those, so I raise an idea, klein as a rising demigod, who eventually becomes a koa, or a true god?

You'd think he'd be a beta but scent marking him does nothing. Haha, you tried to scent him as yours? Too damn bad, his autoclean mode is active 24/7. You tried to overwhelm him with your pheromones? Because of this, i also feel inclined to believe KSE isnt as affected by an alpha's authority as everyone else because the authority (pheromones) cant even get to him in the first place
