I know Tumblr is full of posts about the virtues of commenting on AO3 fics and such. But like. It works.

I just knocked out 8.5k words in one single day for a chapter update because of one reader leaving one of the most absurdly endearing comments I’ve ever gotten. That is unheard of levels of productivity for me.

The power of the fandom. The power of the comment.

First Elucien friendship bracelet done <3

Bracelet update. I've gone to the store 3 different times for things I thought I had but didn't. First, it was pearlescent beads. Then lobster clips. And most recently (as in I just got back home), jump rings.

But on a plus side. I found these little pearlescent teardrop beads that I might use to make some elucien earrings too

Did something to myself and I can't decide if it's sad or funny. I'm leaning toward funny.

Basically, I'm at work thinking about one of my writing projects, as I do. And I give my FMC a best friend. It's her closest friend in the world, they care about each other so much. And I start getting hyped. Like yeah! They love each other so much. Lenore will say to Ava that she wouldn't ever leave their kinda shitty home situation if it meant leaving her behind. And Ava thinks to herself that for the last 10 years, Lenore is the only person she's ever felt truly herself with. And they started gaining some ship vibes and then I glanced at my outline to make a note and found my MMC... Ava's fated mate... just waiting for me to write down the next part of his plan to get back to his mate after being banished. And a thought occurred to me...
