We break the shells of invasive species in coral reefs with hammers, shoot invasive fish with guns and feed them to sharks, pick up cigarette butts off the ground, plant native plants where they never would have flourished naturally, create captive breeding programs for release in zoos, hunt deer and other game where there are no natural predators, make laws banning whale fishing, and a billion other small and large attempts to garden nature into a more hospitable place

my mental image of #the it has shifted some since I finished the series a couple years ago, then shifted again after my parents got me the physical books for my bday and I've began my umpteenth reread. so I decided to draw something about it.

And her fights are very funny.

At one point a cop on super drugs is tearing through the station, ripping people apart with his bare hands, handgun bullets bouncing off him, very scary. Pretty tense. None of the people there are the kind of superhuman killers that can effectively deal with such a thing.

Then Urara shows up

Pulls the dude through a sheet metal door and snaps his neck.

And looks extremely pleased about it.

Because Urara isn't some dumb hunk of muscle; she's a professional prize fighter. She can actually *fight* not just brawl.

It's just that she has out-muscled every opponent she has faced until this point by such a ludicrous degree that she never had to fight them seriously.

But in reality she is probably at this point in the manga, the most skilled and lethal fighter alive of the cast.

MURDER!

KILL!

GORE!
