“To be honest, all humans are just… tissue and water, so you are kind of meat,” Esther said, puzzled. When she saw the other’s reaction, she quickly added, “But I didn’t hear the context… or anything.”

Addie laughed loudly, grinning at the girl. She turned her body completely away from the man. “I like you. I’m Addie.”

“Holy shit….” Lydia tilts the glasses down, the sight before her dropping her jaw. “Adelaide?!” She screams and runs into her sister. “Oh my god,” she places a hand on her hair and runs over it coddling her. “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry. Addie…” tears forming in her eyes.

“Y-yeah… you can’t treat woman like that.”

Addie looked at the girl, feeling her heart melt slightly just at the sight. “Thanks sweetie. Are you here with someone? This isn’t the kind of party for someone as sweet as you you know...”

“thank you.” Sophia grinned proudly. “The idea itself is something I appreciate.”

Addie grinned at the other redhead. “I’m Addie.”

Schuyler swung into the conversation quickly especially when he noticed someone looking at Adelaide in an odd fashion. “You heard the lady, she requested that you stop looking at her in that way or we will have a problem.” His voice low and gravely whenever he was around her, he loved his mystery. The person rolling their eyes and leaving he turns to her. “What would you do without me Princess?” He smugly smirks.

“Me?” Adriana looked at her with her eyebrows raised. “As much as I would love to jump to your defence here, can you really blame the puny human? Sorry, but the only way I’m willing to back you up is into a wall.”

Adelaide raise an eyebrow slowly. “Oh, really?” She eyed the girl up and down. “I have to say, you’re already more interesting than this drunk idiot.”
