I'm the type to see if it's biologically possible to have quirks.

like temperatures and weather conditions in dallas won't be the same as they are in phoenix, and those two cities will have different conditions compared to seattle or new york, even if its the same time of year. so its assuming that the military would have to alter its behavior to better suit their environments; colder regions would need more blankets and coats and clothes in winter months, hotter regions would need more water in summer months. places down toward the coast of america would need to be more wary of hurricanes during hurricane season, while places toward the middle would need to be worried about tornados, and places up north would worry about blizzards, places along rivers might need to worry about flooding durning a storm. they would need to adapt to their qz, so would the fireflies do the same? would they adapt their plans of attack (or non attack; again, peaceful or more violent?) to suit their weather conditions. maybe using underground bunkers and basements as strongholds in case a tornado wipes them out, or planning raids or riots during blizzards because of the limited visibility. its ALL SO FASINATING
