I love whenever objectivity believers are afraid to be confronted with subjectivity </3 It's almost as if they're afraid of their entire worldview shattering XD

I don't really understand how people can be proud of being who they are... like.... that's out of your control? You didn't even do anything? Like you can accept yourself (that's a whole different matter though), but being proud of who you are? That just doesn't make sense. (I'm not trying to be offensive btw, I just don't understand, that's all.)

I think the thought that everybody DESERVES xyz is nice, but is an oxymoron. Deserving (in my mind at least) either means: a) You (morally) did something, and thus deserve something else or b) You have the capacities to do something, and deserve to reap the benefits of doing that The combination of 'everybody' and 'deserve' cannot work together. The first definition is not only unapplicable because 'morally doing something; and 'everyone' does not go together, but also for the same reason as b. Which is that if everybody can do/does something and deserves to get something from doing it, deserving loses it's meaning. Though this is a bit of a wobbly point in my argumentation. Now the two options that are left are either: 1. Deserving doesn't exist 2. Their are people who don't deserve certain things, and people who do I think both are uncomfortable and I don't really like either answer. On the basis of definition a, I'd choose option 1. Because of the subjectivity of morality. But with definition b I'd choose option b. Because it makes sense that if you can get something, and want to get it, you get it. Now the combination of option 2 and b do lose most of their functional meaning when the statements are positive (They deserved to win the competition, because they were better at math.) But in the negative it implies fault and responsibility for your own actions (they don't have any friends because they lay in bed all day.) Now I would still like to focus on the combination of 2 and b, not only because 1 and a are irrelevant (because 1 states that deserving doesn't exist), but also because this definition is what sparked this comment. I wrote this comment because I watched a Ted-Talk about vulnerability and such. The speaker said that we should embrace that we deserve love, connection and belonging. But the arguments for why, were non-existent. Mostly because that wasn't the point, but it was still an essential part I would have liked to see. But I'm getting sidetracked. the main thing I wanted to say is that I clearly don't agree. (P.S. I said that I don't like options 1 or 2, but everybody deserving something seems even scarier to me, so I'm probably very biased (as usual.))

Yep, you were right. Liked one post somewhere and now my whole fyp is completely destroyed. Wtf is this site's algorithm :.) If I like something I want to see THAT, if I look at some art I want to see THAT. HECK if I look at a message for 10 seconds show me more of that. I don't want to get recommended EVERYTHING that one person likes because I liked/reshared one thing of theirs. Stalk me more, be more addicting, please and thank you very much.

Today MCSR ranked made me play 3 games against the same person today. All 3 games had terrible seeds, but it was actually quite fun. Shoutouts to MeeCool for entertaining me today, good luck with your speedrunning journey and congrats on overcoming a buried bastion and new pb on getting to the fortress! For those that are interested, the first seed was a desert pyramid where if you did the tnt thing, you'd die in a cave. The 2nd one had legit the worst lava pool ever. And the third one had the buried bastion (nothing really special, but still bad.)
