but to preface! i'd actually be interested in hearing why you think it is incest; i see a lot of people demanding that cloneshippers explain themselves, but all i see from the other side is "they're brothers" without any explanation of why you'd think that

anyways, it's actually not incest! now, you can absolutely interpret the clones as literal brothers and thats 100% cool. truly. but - they're not siblings biologically, obviously. they're clones; they're grown in tubes and we don't have a real-world equivalent of that. and they're not socially siblings either:

we know from TCW that when the cadets are kids, they're in big squads of about 9 each, and then when they're young adults, they're suddenly in squads of 5, and in groups that don't seem to know each other very well. so we know that canonically the clones get split up from each other and put into new groups at least one time on kamino. my guess is that this happens way more than once, but nevertheless, we do know that canonically, the clones do not grow up with the same cadets from decanting to graduation - unless they're a special case like the null ARCs. domino squad, for example, are not "batchmates", to use a fanon term

and speaking of the nulls, they're the only clones we know had anything even close to a parental figure - the clones grew up without parents or any kind of family structure and in a very sterile environment in that kind of way
