decided to make this since it won't leave my mind.

I apologize for my shit explanation on the "proshipper thing being in my bio" post. I wasn't fully sure what I was talking about. I was at band camp when I got the ask and my brain was more focused on getting music played. I also was stupid and believed what I heard on the internet. I saw a pin on pinterest that described the shipping terms, and a proshipper explained more abt proships in the comments. What I know is that they don't harass ppl for what they ship (could be entirely wrong)

I know it could be too late or not necessary for a apology but it is to me so it leaves my brain. The mutual who I wanted to direct this too has either blocked me or deleted their account. (Another moot who knew them + me also unfriended me on discord but that's not important)

Again, I apologize if I threw anyone the wrong way. I will do more research then a pinterest post before doing something. I don't expect forgiveness, im a person on the internet who barely anyone knows. Im just rlly desperate for talk and I love explaining stuff but suck at explaining things.

for context: my name is based of the (lesser known) Greek goddess achlys. She was known for posion, death mist, etc.

Now I pronounce it differently then how it's actually pronounced. I pronounce it ack-liss, since that's how I read it in my head 1st time I saw it

A lot of ppl (mainly on vr) call me Achilles when they try to say my name. Some keep calling me that name (cuz I'm to tired to correct them) but most of my friends call me silly, only a few have actually pronounced it right

I just find it funny cuz how do you get "Achilles" out of "achlys"? Like I know they're both from Greek mythology but it's so different 😭

Also, saying that "most proshippers are normal" is most definitely wrong. if anything, comshipping should be where proshippers are. I genuinely find it so weird that you think Proshipping is more acceptable than comshipping.

and being so open about being in the wss community is sorta weird? like yeah be wss but the community is honestly so toxic and i don't really interact with nearly any of the community bc of how bad of a circle it is. Just my opinion tho.

ok lemme clear some things up.

The "most proshippers are normal": this was from a pinterest post I saw abt the definition of the 3 terms (dark,com,pro) and an actual proshipper had just stated smth I forgot but thinking abt it I rlly need to change that

But here's a quick summary of the three I can remember for my sake: proship: not harassing over ships (some w/ problematic ones, some not) comship: complicated ships/ship dynamics like demon x human or demon x angel (most common in media) darkship: supporting/shipping taboo ships like parent x child or incest (which I do NOT support)

Being open abt wss: I know some of the community Is toxic, every thing is gonna have a toxic side to it. But I found a sweet lil community on here made by a moot where it's pretty chill. I'm also not afraid to let out my opinion, so me being wss is gonna stay out unless I have to take it out.
