i finished silent hill 3 (just one playthrough) and i really liked it its just so sad i cannot stand the way the camera works and the boss fights for that game. i think they were cooking w the way its built but the way the game runs (at least in an emulator) its so horrible to me...

adding onto this and i think claudia is def an interesting character to think about... obv correct me if theres stuff i missed wrt claudia and her motivations (besides yk, being indoctrinated and raised within a cult) but to me its very interesting to think about her as somebody who, alongside her beliefs aligning with the cult and the rebirth of their God, perhaps feels immense conflict and guilt associated with her abuse compared to the sufferings of others. like im for sure projecting with most of this but she is incredibly compelling when seen as a girl who has been abused all her life but feels so deeply for the suffering of other people, combined with The Orders goals, motivates her more to be persistent into bringing the eternal paradise, so nobody else has to suffer and maybe she wont suffer anymore or she can actually reconcile with her abuse and view it as bad as it was.
