I'm sleep-deprived thanks to a certain jester hat and its rigging. But I just can't deal with the way TERFs frame the human body as having a male or a female switch that gets switched in the womb. When it's like, no, the human body is MUCH cooler than that. Instead of there being a switch, our bodies are basically null, and the sex given to us by hormones. Basically, our sex expression is a constant process by our gonads/testicles/ovaries. Which saves resources and ensures there are failsaves in case the hormone production isn't working right. It also means that medical transitioning is very effective, because it is using the same method our bodies themselves use to express sex. That is such a wonderfully fluid system that it is outright beautiful.

Not superstitious and not not superstitious but a third secret thing (read a lot of fairytales as a child and doesn't believe them but also would never be rude to a mountain while still on it just in case)

I think some of the loneliness of autism is that you feel like you hurt people just by Interacting Wrong, but you don’t know how to Interact Right, and the more effort you put into it, the more exhausted you are and the more artificial it comes across (with the end result of people still being upset with you). and it’s not anyone’s fault for not liking Being Interacted With Wrong, and it’s not your fault for doing it so wrong, but it is very, very lonely.

in case this was too negative, I CAN sniff out other autistic people like an ant scenting pheromones, and I DO automatically love them right from the outset. honestly, there are some people whose autism doesn’t mesh well with mine, but the base love is still there because I know we’re alike, and I know that have shared painful experiences. so it’s not all hopeless! you just need to find other ants 🐜

Obviously as a gay Lutheran I don’t agree with Mr. the pope on a lot of things but I think it’s wild when he’s like “be nice and don’t be fascist” and then conservative Catholics get mad at him. Like bro that’s your boss, basically your king, and he’s just telling you to be nice to people and don’t be a nazi. If thats offensive I think you might need to do some reflection.
