On the one hand, the whole walk-in moon thing feels much more fantastical and reminiscent of older regions, and the desaturated colors of the environment (or at least compared to Natlan ig) helps. On the other hand, Nasha town just feels even more like ZZZ than Natlan. While Natlan at least had camps and buildings that evoked a generally fantastical aspect, Nasha town (and the other buildings in Nod-Krai) are literally just 1930s stuff. I don’t think it’s necessarily BAD to have things resemble real life times, but Nod-Krai just seems to push it TOO far. We were led to believe FONTAINE was the most technologically futuristic of the nations, and it still doesn’t feel too alien. Yet Nod-Krai is over here being half fantasy half ZZZ just kinda ruins it

I quit the game already because i cant stand it anymore lmao. But from the tiny bit i saw myself, i think the fact that instead of panning through the town and environments when first welcoming us to nod krai, they panned to ALL THE NEW PULLABLE CHARACTERS really tells you enough where the priorities are.

Snezhnaya was hyped from the beginning to being technologically superior so i dont mind it. But ngl nasha town feels... token mechanical town but lil bit of quirky. Doesnt help that none of the characters felt like they actually lived there lmao.

I am infact nodding and crying because everything I loved from genshin is either gone or anything resembling it is tainted with 'this is a very blatant attempt on a surface level fix for a deep rooted issue long ignored'

I am infact announcing my departure like an airport because i did love the game. I dont want to be a hater but I cant keep 'ignoring the bad part'.

It's very clear their attempt to attract new players by butchering Natlan didn't work. So they're going after the loyal players now by introducing more vertical investment options. And I genuinely cannot enjoy a game when I know they make these choices with that in mind then gaslit us into thinking they're very generous due to the many freebies theyre giving for now.

Idk if this means i'll stop drawing genshin and repurpose this acc or something we'll see lol.

Everyone else can go home to ZZZ now. Seriously to be fair though, Nod Krai isnt exactly Snezhnaya yet so I can forgive them for looking like generic fantasy designs with no 'nation culture/cohesion'. But man I feel like they seem to be struggling a lil bit, because I can tell even in Varka's design theyre trying so hard not to over do it and make him look like visual barf. But its REALLY obvious they didnt hold on the ZZZ vibes for Aino, Ineffa, and that other green robot lady.
