he scoffed, “oh baby, I never get sick.” he moved from his spot near the door to sit on the edge of your bed, “scoot so I can work my magic.” having no choice you weakly moved to make room for him, your entire body beginning to flare up in pain. once there was enough room, ace moved to lay on his left side as he draped his right arm across your stomach. when he pulled you close you were able to feel him smile into your neck, “is this better?”

you hummed as your exposed skin began to instantly heat up from his touch. turning your head you saw how peaceful he looked; eyes closed, a loving smile on his lips, his hair framing his face. pressing a small kiss onto his lips you saw his smile grow even wider, “this is much better. are you sure you won’t get sick?” he slightly opened his eyes, his eyes holding so much love in them, “even if i do i'm going to have the prettiest nurse taking care of me.” you felt a small blush creep on your face which added to the warmth his body radiated.
