Academy X School for Gifted People

We are a brand new AU Marvel Academy Roleplay Group with elements of both Marvel Comics and Marvel Cinematic Universe set in the year 2029. We have quite a few premade characters to choose from but any and all OCs and Canons are welcome just send us an app or an ask! 

The two of us would love to see some apps so we can get things started here at Academy X RPG. We plan to open once we get at least 2 more people so come check us out ya’ll!

BIO:

Clinton Francis Barton, better known as Clint, was born in Waverly, Iowa and was the youngest of two children. He had an older brother named Francis. Growing up, Clint’s father was an abusive drunk who abused his sons relentlessly which left Clint partially deaf. When Clint was a child, his mother died in a car accident and his father committed suicide leaving Francis and Clint both orphaned and put into the foster care system. They didn’t stay long before both ran away to join the circus. They both ended up joining the Carson Carnival of Travelling Wonders, a traveling circus and sideshow, where Clint was taken under the wing of the Swordsman and Trickshot who taught him to become a master archer and marksman. Clint later found the Swordsman embezzling money from the carnival. Before he could turn his mentor over to the authorities, Clint was beaten and left for dead, allowing the Swordsman to escape town. Clint's relationship with his brother Barney and Trick Shot soon deteriorated as well.

Clint adapted his archery skills to become a star carnival attraction, a master archer called "Hawkeye", otherwise known as "The World's Greatest Marksman". He spent some time as a member of Tiboldt's Circus,  before joining the Coney Island Circus. He witnessed Iron Man in action and was inspired to become a costumed hero. However, after a misunderstanding on his first outing, Hawkeye was accused of theft and believed to be a criminal. On the run, the naive Hawkeye met the Black Widow, a spy for the Soviet Union, with whom he fell in love. Blindly following the Black Widow, Hawkeye aided her attempts to steal technology developed by Tony Stark. In one of their battles with Iron Man, the Black Widow was seriously injured. Hawkeye rescued her and fled the battle to save her life. But before Hawkeye could take her to a hospital, the Black Widow disappeared. Hawkeye decided to be a "straight-shooter" from then on, joining SHIELD as a field agent.

While working as a field agent for SHIELD, Clint reunites with Black Widow, who began using the alias Natasha Romanoff, who confessed that she was in love with him. Clint convinced Natasha to join SHIELD and he took her under his wing, showing her the ropes. The two became the best of friends and later decided to start a romantic relationship which was short lived due to the stress of the job. While Clint never stopped loving Natasha, he eventually moved on and they remained close friends and partners. During a mission, Clint lost the remainder his hearing and after a lengthy recovery time he gained minimal hearing through the use of hearing aides given to him by Tony Stark. It was shortly after he became deaf that he met his wife, Laura, and the two started a life together. They had three children to whom only Natasha knew about until after the battle with Ultron when Clint introduced his family to the rest of the Avengers.

Clint was on board for the opening of Academy X, thinking it would not only be a safe place for mutants and young heroes but his children as well who he enrolled in the school. He teaches Advanced Weapons Training where he teaches the students everything from archery and guns to melee weapons. While working at Academy X, he met his alternate reality son Francis to whom he conceived with fellow SHIELD agent Bobbie Morse (also known as Mockingbird) in another universe. Clint was shocked at first as he already had three children in his timeline but eventually he and Laura both welcomes Francis into their family, their three children eventually warming up to the idea of having an older brother from a different reality.

PERSONALITY:

Clint Barton is a man that lives for the thrill of adventures. He’s enjoying himself most when under extreme pressure or danger and fighting for his very life. Clint would probably have a very hard time settling time in a quiet life.He loves the challenge of being a leader and will attempt to acquire such a position unless there’s a better leader around (which Hawkeye will have a bit trouble acknowledging; Captain America is one such acknowledged).As a leader, as well as solo, he’s bold, decisive, phenomenal, sneaky and devilishly tricky. He’s unusually experienced and gets the job done as long as he’s in control of the situation. Hawkeye is a master of improvisation and can quickly adapt to situations where he’s supremely overpowered and shouldn’t stand a change.He often fights super-powered gangs with acrobatics, arrows and quick remarks only while actually managing to not only survive, but to win also. 

However, formerly he wanted danger and adventure only. This led to his criminal career, stint with the Black Widow, and to become the foe of Iron Man, but he had a good heart all along. He now truly believes in the good fight and impressively seems to be spiritually inferior only to Captain America himself.Clint also possesses a sense of rivalry that often puts him in challenging situations with other superheroes. For instance as to who is the greatest leader, the most charming etc. As a flamboyant hothead, Clint also quite often attempts to flirt with various attractive women, but eventually knows when he needs to back down.The strong personality that Clint enjoys is also one of the things that make him into such an amazing leader and crime fighter.Captain America once commented that leading Hawkeye and the rest of the Avengers is like trying to ride a pack of wild horses. He also realizes that he needs to train for hours every day in order to survive in a world where everyone has superpowers. Given his own background and his personality, Hawkeye has a desire to give criminals a second chance, like he himself was given. Although adventurous, Clint has sometimes settled down with a woman that he can love, as he’s done with the Black Widow and now Laura. He’s also a very close friend of the Natasha Romanoff, Steve Rogers, and Bucky Barnes.

RELATIONSHIPS: Cooper, Lila, Nathaniel, and Francis Barton - Children - Clint is very protective of his children (including Francis despite being from a different timeline) and would gladly give his life for them. He is accepting of each and every one of their differences and helps them the best way that he knows how.

Natasha Romanoff - Best Friend/Partner/Ex-Girlfriend - Clint met Natasha when she attacked him shortly after leaving Red Room and fell in love with her. After he convinced her to join SHIELD, they became best friends and partners before attempting a romantic relationship which later fizzled back into friendship due to the job. He will always love Natasha but he has since moved on and is happy for her and Bucky even if he didn’t particularly like the guy at first.

Steve Rogers - Close Friend - Clint and Steve have a rivalry much like that of James and Francis since both of them possess strong leadership qualities which often leads to them bickering and snarking at each other but at the end of the day, Clint and Steve consider to be close friends.

BIO:

Scott Summers was born the oldest of two sons of Major Christopher Summers, a decorated Air Force Pilot, and Katherine Summers, a decorated Air Force doctor, in Achorage, Alaska. He had a younger brother named Alex, better known as Havok, who was killed in the fall of the Xavier School twelve years before the opening of Academy X. Growing up Scott lived a very disciplines home life of that of a child of military parents and attended a private school for children of military officers. Scott and his brother had it instilled in them from a young age that Summers men come from a long line of decorated soldiers and they were expected to follow the family tradition, a goal which Scott fully embraced. He was often teased at school for being so dedicated to this goal but he stood his ground, unlike his brother who was more of a fighter. However, their world suddenly changed when their parents decided to take a sudden leave of absence to fly the family to New York for reasons unknown to the Summers children to see a close and trusted family friend. Along the way, for reasons still unknown to Scott, their plane crashed killing their parents and leaving Scott and Alex as the lone survivors after their parents stuffed them into parachutes and pushed them from the plane to save them.

After overcoming their injuries from the crash, Scott and Alex were sent to an orphanage for the children of fallen military officers thanks to strings being pulled by their father’s superiors. While Alex came to terms with the deaths of their parents, Scott struggled for years. Between the trauma from the crash and his emotional state, Scott’s powers manifested themselves at an early age starting with migraines, then seizure like symptoms and before too long he was flashing red eyes at potential foster parents causing him to scare off potential families for him and Alex as well as isolate him from the other children at the orphanage. After years of failed foster family, bullying and abuse, Scott lost his cool and nearly destroyed the orphanage they were staying in causing the officials to want to place Scott and Alex elsewhere. Fearing they would be separated, Scott and Alex set out on their own and lived on the streets for many years.

While Alex embraced this renegade style existence, Scott remained focused on greater ambitions. He expressed a strong desire to rebuild a life that wasn’t on the streets. This put him at odds with his brother. This wedge only widened after a horrific incident in a simple operation to gather food from a truck. In it, the driver of the truck tried to attack Alex and Scott responded by blasting him with his optic blasts. This resulted in the driver being killed. It struck Scott on a profound level, so much so that he resisted using his powers. In repressing them, he made them more unmanageable. By age 15, he was fully blinded and had to cover his eyes at all time. This not only hindered his ability to survive, it hindered his ability to protect Alex.

Eventually, Professor Charles Xavier discovered him. He was offered the chance to attend the Xavier School to have not only a safe haven but to learn to control his powers, the offer was also extended to Alex as well, to which both accepted. It was there that he met and fell in love with his future wife, Jean Grey, and years later lost his brother when the School was destroyed killing both Alex and Professor Xavier in the process. Scott and Jean set out to live a low key life for a while, trying and failing to start a family before they took jobs teaching at the newly opened Academy X where they met their children from alternate timeless, which they later adopted.

PERSONALITY

After the death of his parents, in his youth, Scott was angry and hostile until attending the Xavier School but had a strong sense of determination to keep his younger brother, Alex, safe no matter what the cost. He has a strong sense of family, putting them first and foremost and would do anything in the world for them. Despite being angry in his youth, he showed to have natural leadership abilities as a teenager and later used this to his advantage when becoming the leader of the X-Men. He has been known to love with his whole heart, as has been shown with Jean over the course of their lives together. He has a sarcastic sense of humor and banters with the best of them, as shown with his former teammate Wolverine despite the tension because of Jean. After Jean’s death, before her resurrection, he fell into a deep depression causing him to neglect his duties but rose back into his leadership position upon her resurrection after destroying the Phoenix Force. Scott has been shown to be a very driven and ambitious person, willing to do all that he can to succeed in a particular cause or mission. He is also very loyal and protective of those he cares about, willing to risk his own life to save others.

RELATIONSHIPS:

Jean Grey-Summers - Wife - Scott met Jean at the Xavier School and they immediately bonded over the fact that neither of them could control their powers. After years of friendship, the two eventually fell in love and started a relationship which later lead to marriage. They adopted their alternate reality children after they were unable to conceive children of their own and are still very much in love.

Rachel Grey-Summers - Alternate Reality Daughter - Upon her arrival in the current timeline, Scott and Rachel immediately embraced each other as father and daughter and share a very close and loving relationship despite being from different timelines. Scott is very protective of Rachel, as he is with Jean and Nate, and would gladly give his life for hers.

Nate Grey-Summers - Alternate Reality Son - Like with Rachel, Scott fully embraced Nate as his son upon meeting him and does everything within his power to help him learn to control his powers so that he can stay with them as long as they can. He and Nate share a close and loving bond.

BIO:

Jean Elaine Grey was born the second daughter of John and Elaine Grey. She had an older sister, Sara Grey-Bailey. John Grey was a professor at Bard College in upstate New York. Jean had a stable, loving family life growing up. Jean's mutant powers of telepathy and telekinesis first manifest when her best friend is hit by a car and killed. Jean mentally linked with her friend and nearly dies as well. The event leaves her comatose, and she is brought back to consciousness when her parents seek the help of powerful mutant telepath, Charles Xavier. Xavier blocks her telepathy until she is old enough to be able to control it, leaving her with access only to her telekinetic powers. Xavier later recruits her as a teenager to be part of his X-Men team as "Marvel Girl", the team's sole female member. After several missions with the X-Men, Xavier removes Jean's mental blocks and she is able to use and control her telepathic powers. She begins a relationship with teammate Cyclops (Scott Summers), which persists as her main romantic relationship, though she also develops a mutual secret attraction to a later addition to the team, Wolverine to which nothing comes of.

During an emergency mission in space, the X-Men find their shuttle damaged. Jean pilots the shuttle back to Earth, but is exposed to fatal levels of radiation. Dying, but determined to save Cyclops and her friends, Jean calls out for help and is answered by the cosmic entity, the Phoenix Force. The Phoenix Force, the sum of all life in the universe, is moved by Jean's dedication and love and takes the form of a duplicate body to house Jean's psyche. In that instant, the Phoenix Force is overwhelmed and believes itself to be Jean Grey and places Jean's dying body in a healing cocoon. The ship crashes in Jamaica Bay, with the other X-Men unharmed. The Phoenix Force, as Jean Grey, emerges in a new green and gold costume and adopts the new codename "Phoenix", with immense cosmic powers. Meanwhile, the cocoon containing the real Jean Grey sinks to the bottom of the bay, unnoticed. Phoenix continues her life as Jean Grey with the other X-Men, joining them on missions and saving the universe. Some time later, Phoenix becomes overwhelmed and corrupted by her first taste of evil and transforms into a force of total destruction, called "Dark Phoenix", consuming a star, inadvertently killing the inhabitants of the star's planetary system, and jeopardizing the entire universe. However, Jean's personality manages to take control and Phoenix commits suicide to ensure the universe's safety. 

Upon its suicide by way of a disintegration ray, the Phoenix Force disperses into its original form and a fragment locates the still-healing Jean at the bottom of Jamaica Bay. In trying to bond with her, Jean senses its memories of death and destruction as Dark Phoenix and rejects it. Her body is found some time later and she reunites with her fellow X-Men who are happy to find her alive. She resumes her relationship with Scott, putting to bed her feelings for Wolverine, but when he proposes to her some time later she rejects him initially before later proposing to him and later they were married. Both Jean and Scott returned to the Xavier School as teachers upon retiring as X-Men, wanting to start a family. After years of trying to conceive, however, they found that they were unable due to the effects of Jean’s death and time spent in the cocoon the Phoenix Force surrounded her in.

After the destruction of Xavier School and the death of her mentor, Charles Xavier, Jean and Scott lived a low key life trying to find a new safe haven. Upon hearing of the opening of Academy X, Jean and Scott were among the first of the Xavier School Alumni to join as instructors. It was there that she and Scott met their alternate reality children and due to the fact they couldn’t have any of their own, they welcomed them both with open arms and adopted them as if they had given birth to them themselves in their timeline.

PERSONALITY:

The picture Jean presents to the world is calm and cool with great self-esteem. She is emotionally strong, practical, and a steady presence to her team-mates She also has a passionate side that can appear in battle, which makes her a dangerous opponent. Jean has a warm heart and will, without doubt, help those in need, treating humans and mutants alike. There is no doubt that she would selflessly give her life for her comrades or to save mankind/mutantkind. In fact, once when she did exactly that, it lead to the creation of the Phoenix entity on Earth. To her friends, Jean is a steady anchor that can be trusted at all times.

RELATIONSHIPS:

Scott Summers - Husband - Jean and Scott met while attending the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters in their early teens and were friends at first. After a few years of going to school together and being friends, they both became romantically attracted to one another and started a relationship which lasted until this day. Despite the fact that she was secretly attracted to fellow teammate, Wolverine, while dating Scott she ultimately chose Scott in the end as her love for him was stronger. They later married and decided to start a life together. 

Rachel Grey-Summers - Alternate Reality Daughter - Jean welcomed Rachel with open arms as she was unable to conceive a child of her on in her current timeline and they share a close and loving relationship as mother and daughter. She enjoys teaching alongside her daughter and spending time with her in general. She is very protective of her and loves her dearly.

CHARACTER NAME: Nathan Grey - Summers FC: Cameron Monaghan STATUS AT ACADEMY X: Academy X Student NICKNAME: Nate OTHER NOTABLE ALIAS: X Man, Nate the Great BIRTHDAY: June 27, Unknown Year AGE: 18 SPECIES: Mutant ABILITIES: Telepathy, Telekinesis, Precognition, Energy and Matter Manipulation, Energy Blasts, Master Martial Artist NOTABLE FEATURE(S): White Streaks in his Reddish Brown Hair BIO: Nathan “Nate” Grey- Summers has a bit of an unconventional history compared to his sister and parents. He hails from an alternate reality where he is the biological son of Scott Summers (Cyclops) and Jean Grey (Phoenix) but rather than being born naturally he was artificially created in a lab by a man by the name of Mr. Sinister using genetic material of both Scott and Jean. Sinister created Nate to be the ultimate mutant. It is possible that, with practice, Nate could be the most powerful psionicist on the planet. Unfortunately, his powers are so powerful that he often has little control over them and their continuous use actually slowly are killing him  (Power Reserve is used very often). Powered combat exhausts him (and sometimes forces him to do Desperate Recovery Checks).

Cyclops, who didn’t know of his connection to Nate, helped to save Nate from Mr. Sinister and Nate was subsequently raised by Forge. His native reality was ruled by its version of Apocalypse. Those struggling against Apocalypse, including X-Man, eventually managed to undo their past and erase their reality, so it would be replaced by one where Apocalypse didn’t conquer the world during the late XXth century. A handful of persons survived, including Nate, and was transported to the current reality in New York.

Throughout his lifetime he longed for a family, never really getting to have a traditional childhood.  As Nate was the product of cloning and accelerated aging, he has not had a traditional emotional development. As such, he has never made any place for yesterdays or never made any room for tomorrow. He expects to die young, although he really does not want that, out of using his powers. Upon arriving in New York in his new reality, he met his parents and they fully accepted him as their son as they were not able to conceive children of their own in their reality. He also learned around the same time that he had a sister from another reality named Rachel to whom he also became close to. His parents and sister help him to control his powers, which he had yet to get full control over, and he attends Academy X with the intent of continuing his studies on the XMen track upon graduation as it’s his last year. Missing his friends back in his reality, Nate tries to make friends in his current reality, getting close to the underclassman Nathaniel Barton to whom he admires due to his carefree attitude and optimism.

PERSONALITY:

Nate is a heroic, but angry young man seeking a place in an unfamiliar world. He is a firm protector of the underdog, although his methods are somewhat violent for the standards of society in our world.As Nate was the product of cloning and accelerated aging, he has not had a traditional emotional development. As such, he has never made any place for yesterdays or never made any room for tomorrow. He expects to die young, although he really does not want that, out of using his powers.His subconsciousness has sometimes turned off parts of his powers as a last way of conserving his energies so that he might continue to live.Thus, he has often been his own worst enemy, jeopardizing his life when locking out the use of his powers at critical points in time. He has also many times been responsible for creating both menaces and miracles around himself subconsciously ; these effects, however, always end up giving him troubles later on. Other solutions to his problems are that Nate sometimes has discussions with holographic versions of his friend and himself to sort things out.He often thinks about his place in things ; that he doesn’t really belong in this world, or does he? He longs for his friends left behind at the Age of Apocalypse. Nate will help strangers any time, particularly kids. Nate often does things just to spite someone, even himself. He’s a good kid at heart so this is not for evil reasons, but just to prove the point. 

Nate has spent some time among homeless people helping them out in various ways as well since they too are, in a way, outcasts like himself. Nate often visits the Washingtone Square Park in New York’s Greenwich Village to play host to an eclectic crowd of city dwellers and tourists alike and help them out as needed using his psi-talents. This activity provides Nate with a refuge and a sense of purpose.

RELATIONSHIPS:

Jean Grey-Summers -

Alternate Reality Mother - Nate never really got to know his parents since he was the result of genetic cloning so when he met Jean and Scott in the current reality he fully embraced the parents he had always longed for. As Jean is one of the most powerful mutants in the current reality, like himself in his, he often goes to her to help him with his abilities as he is still not able to control them. He and Jean have a very close and loving relationship to which the latter fully embraced Nate as her son as she was unable to conceive in her reality.

Scott Summers - Alternate Reality Father - When Nate met Scott, he was reminded of the Scott who saved his life in his reality and how he wished he had developed a relationship with him them despite not knowing he was his father at the time until much later. Nate and Scott have a close and loving relationship, the latter having fully embraced Nate as his son much like his wife, and he often goes to his father for advice.

Rachel Grey-Summers - Alternate Reality Sister - Nate thought it was cool that he had a sister from another reality like himself and that their parents embraced and adopted them both upon their arrival in the current timeline. He and his sister have a very close relationship and help each other deal with the pasts they left behind in their realities. Nate is very protective of his sister as she is of him and he would do anything in the world for him.

BIO:

Rachel Anne Summers comes from an alternate future Earth known as Earth-811, and is the oldest child of Scott Summers (Cyclops) and Jean Grey-Summers (Phoenix).  In her reality, the assassination of Senator Robert Kelly provoked the ratification of the Mutant Registration Act, leading to a dystopian future where the mutant-hunting Sentinel robots rule North America. Rachel was abducted by operatives working for Ahab, who used drugs and hypnotherapy to turn Rachel into a "Hound", a mutant who tracks down other mutants. She fulfilled her duties, but her psychic powers linked her to her victims; fueling her grief and despair until she attacked Ahab and scarred him. In return, he sent her to the mutant concentration camps. There, she befriended the surviving mutant rebels, including Wolverine, Magneto, Colossus, Storm, Kate Pryde, and her lover, the adult Franklin Richards. Rachel managed to send Kate's consciousness into the past to her younger self to prevent the assassination, but it did not change their time. Rachel sent her astral form into the past to find out why and discovered she had sent Kate into an alternate past. On the way back, she encountered the disembodied Phoenix Force and it followed her to her present. Rachel passed out from the strain of astral projection and the Phoenix Force revealed itself to Kate, who asked it to give Rachel a fresh start.[5]When Rachel and Kate broke into "Project: Nimrod" on a suicide mission to destroy a new model of Sentinel, they became trapped. When Kate spoke the words "Dark Phoenix," the Phoenix Force ripped Rachel from her timeline and sent her body back to the alternate past to which she had sent Kate's consciousness, present day New York.

Upon entering this new reality, Rachel learned that she had a younger brother named Nate and that her parents were still alive and teaching at the new safe haven for mutants and young heroes, Academy X. Her parents and brother accepted her fully upon meeting her despite the difference in realities because they had all faced stranger things in their past like the fact that Nate himself came from an alternate reality. She took a job teaching Beginner Mental Powers classes alongside her mother, Jean Grey-Summers, so that she can help others with abilities like her own learn their powers.

PERSONALITY:

Rachel is very level-headed and confident. She can still be slightly impulsive at times, but not as dangerously so as she would have been earlier in her life. She still retains certain instabilities, but these are nowhere near as severe as they had been. She still holds a sense of bitterness and hatred for anti-mutant groups and those who mean to wipe out the existence of her people but her sense of vengeance isn’t as great as it was in her reality since her family is still alive in this reality. She still struggles with nightmares of having to hunt down and kill her parents while under the control of Ahab in her reality but spending time with her living family in the current reality helps to quell the guilt that she feels over the things she was forced to do in this reality. She is a free spirited person and tends to be a very determined person. BIO:

Cassandra Eleanor Lang, better known as Cassie, was born December 23, 2010 to Scott and Maggie Lang. Cassie was born with a congenital heart defect and her father resorted to becoming a petty thief in order to attempt to pay for the surgery she needed to save her life, eventually causing him to spent time in prison. While her father was in prison, her parents divorced and her mother remarried. Despite the fact that Cassie still idolized her father, her step father still treated her as if she were his own child. Upon Scott’s release from prison, she got to visit him every weekend as per the custody agreement her parents put into place after their divorce. During one of these weekends her health took a turn for the worse and she was hospitalized, the prognosis not looking good unless she had a surgery that only Dr. Sondheim could perform. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, Dr. Sondheim was in need of rescuing which lead her father to steal the Ant Man suit and Pym Particles from Hank Pym in order to save the doctor who would eventually save her life.

Although Scott tried his best to keep his superhero life a secret, Cassie eventually found out about him being Ant Man. She became fascinated with his life as a superhero and began secretly experimenting with her father’s stash of Pym Particles that he had stolen in the beginning. Her mother and step-father eventually learned of Scott’s life as a superhero and felt it was too dangerous for Cassie so they claimed full custody of her and she and Scott were only allowed to see each other during supervised visitations. When Cassie was 12 she would often sneak out while her mother and step-father were asleep to see her father in secret, a fact that Scott was both happy and upset about as he didn’t want to lose all visitation rights should they get caught.

Shortly after she began experimenting with Pym Particles in secret, she grew to be 10 feet tall in front of her mother and step-father after an angry outburst over not getting to see her father. Maggie called Scott and asked him how that could be possible and after talking to Cassie they learned she had been secretly sneaking her father’s stash in an attempt to become a superhero like Scott. Not knowing how to handle Cassie with her new abilities, Maggie transferred custody to Scott so that he could teach her how to use her abilities with the help of the other Avengers.

After the opening of Academy X, Cassie decided to continue mastering her abilities and began training to be an agent of SHIELD at the SHIELD Academy within Academy X. She befriended Jian Hogunson when she met him on her first day of SHIELD training and soon the two became almost inseparable. She considers him to be her best friend. Jian was the first person she came out to when she realized she was a lesbian and he encouraged her to tell her parents. Her father was very accepting over the fact that his daughter likes girls over boys and her mother took some time to warm up to the idea before eventually accepting her. Her step father never fully accepted her but he has not changed the way he treats her despite this fact.

PERSONALITY:

Cassie is concurrently uncertain of herself but determined to live up to the heritage of her father. She can be trusting and very emotional, but not in a prone to hissy-fits manner, being more empathic about those around her. She is very loyal to those she cares about and is willing to do what she can to help them, even if she tends to second guess herself. She does everything she can to make her father proud of her because he is her biggest hero.

RELATIONSHIPS: Jian Hogunson - Best Friend - Cassie met Jian on the first day of SHIELD training and they immediately hit it off becoming almost inseparable. Nathaniel Pietro Barton, affectionately known as Nathan and Nate, was born and raised in Angle Inlet, Minnesota on March 2nd 2015 to Clint (Hawkeye) and Laura Barton. He was named after his father’s partner at SHIELD, Natasha, and Pietro Maximoff who sacrificed himself to save Clint in battle during the battle with Ultron. He was homeschooled as a young child, due to living in isolation to stay safe from any enemies his father may have made at work. Due to not having any contact with the outside world, Nathan and his siblings became very close and are very protective of one another. His father and Natasha taught him everything he needed to know about martial arts, archery and marksmanship though his is not quite as skilled as his older brother.

While his siblings never really wanted to have friends outside of their close-knit family, Nathan did. He would often dream of what it would be like to grow up in a normal setting, going to school instead of being homeschooled and meeting new people. He would often ask his parents and Natasha what it was like. When Academy X opened, Nathan was excited and nervous to finally get his wish. He was a very friendly person and made friends easily. Because he had two older siblings he got on better with some of the upperclassmen, making friends with the likes of Henry Pym Jr and Nate Summers.

Nathaniel has never really identified as male or female. He knows that physically he is male but he exhibits both masculine and feminine qualities thus choosing to identify as neither male nor female. He prefers to by identified either by his name or They/Them and feels that gender identity just isn’t that important. Nathan feels that in life it doesn’t matter what your gender is but what you do with your life that matters, whether you identify as male or female.

PERSONALITY:

Nathaniel is a very friendly person with an air of innocence due to him being the baby of the Barton family. He tends to find the positive in everything and likes to find the beauty in everything which often has people commenting that they are somewhat feminine qualities to his personality. He can be very sweet but on the same note, he can be very stubborn at times too when he puts his mind to something refusing not to budge due to an intense sense of determination when set on a particular thought or task. Lila Marie Barton was the only girl born to Clint (also known as Hawkeye) and Laura Barton in the small township known as Angle Inlet, Minnesota. She is the middle child of three, four including her alternate reality half brother, and a bit more introverted than her siblings. Rather than training with her father and Natasha growing up she stuck mostly with her mother, learning everything she could from the former school teacher and developed a love for books and the written word. While she didn’t desire to become an agent of SHIELD like her older brother, Cooper, did she still learned how to defend herself from her father and Natasha just not at the same lengths Cooper and her little brother Nathaniel did.

Lila developed a very close relationship to her siblings and family while in isolation and had no desire of meeting new people so when her father enrolled her and her siblings into Academy X, she was out of her element. She pretty much kept her head down until graduation, only interacting with her siblings, parents and Natasha with the exception of Rachel Grey-Summers, James Rogers and Azari T’Challa. She considers them to be her closest, and only, friends. When put in situations where she has to be overly social, Lila tends to freeze and developed a major social anxiety that sometimes leads to panic attacks. Her father believes this stems from growing up so sheltered due to the isolation he put his family in to keep them safe.

After graduating from the Academy, Lila stayed on to work as a Library Assistant and Office Assistant for the school while taking classes online to get a degree in Psychology, hoping to find better ways of coping with her social anxiety so that she can help others in the same predicament she finds herself in.

PERSONALITY:

Lila is very quiet and introverted, only interacting with a select few people. She prefers books to people which is why she spends almost all of her time in the library when she isn’t working in the office sorting files. Lila tends to get anxious in social situations causing her to either freeze or go into a panic attack, though her father and friend James have taught her different techniques to help her cope with this anxiety. For those she does feel comfortable enough to socialize with she is a very sweet and caring person, loyal and compassionate. She would do anything in the world for her family and closest friends.

Azari T’Challa - Close Friend / Crush - Lila met Azari in the library and at first she was afraid to talk to him. After learning a bit about him from James and learning he was trustworthy, Lila befriended the young Wakandan Prince. The closer they got, however, the more she started to see him as more than a friend but never said anything because of her anxiety and the fact she doesn’t want to ruin what they have should he not feel the same.

Clint Barton - Father - Lila and her father share a very close and loving bond. In fact, due to her being the only girl and having social anxiety, Clint is very protective of her as he is all of her other siblings as well. Clint taught her how to defend herself in a fight and how to shoot guns and a bow but wasn’t disappointed in the least that she didn’t want to follow his footsteps into the same professional field.

Natasha Romanoff - Aunt Figure - While Lila was closer with her mother due to their similarities, she was very close to her father’s partner Natasha growing up. Cooper Anthony Barton, known to everyone as Coop, was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota but his family was moved to a farm in a very isolated spot in the minute town of Angle Inlet, Minnesota. His father is an agent of SHIELD and Avenger, Clint Barton better known as Hawkeye, and his mother, Laura, was once a school teacher before they went into isolation. Growing up Cooper always admired his father and his partner, Natasha Romanoff (who he affectionately calls Aunt Nat), because of their work with SHIELD. He enjoyed watching them spar and train with their weapons and he vowed that one day he would follow in their footsteps and join SHIELD. Like his father, Cooper was born deaf but when he was two years old his mother and father opted for him to have the cochlear implant surgery, allowing him to have the ability to hear. Though his father could have followed him, Clint chose not to have the surgery due to personal reasons, having already spent over 30 years deaf and not wanting that much of a drastic change in his routine and only wanting the best for his children.

Growing up mostly in isolation, Cooper didn’t have any friends that weren’t somehow involved with SHIELD. This caused him to become very close and protective of his siblings, Lila and Nathaniel. When Academy X opened it’s doors, Cooper became one of the first students and due to being homeschooled most of his life he was a bit overwhelmed at first. He made top marks in all of his classes, however when it came to social situations he tended to keep mostly to himself, only associating with his siblings, father and Natasha since he didn’t really know how to interact with others his age. He eventually broke out of his shell and though he’s still a bit shy at times, he really enjoys going to all the social functions the academy has to offer. 

Cooper graduated from Academy X with top marks and continued his education at the SHIELD portion of the academy where he is among one of the best in the class due to his extensive training from his father and Natasha before the opening of the academy during their down time. Cooper hopes to one day be as good of an agent as his father, not letting anything stop him from reaching his goals.

PERSONALITY: Cooper is a very determined and intelligent young man who will stop at nothing until he reaches a particular goal. He is very ambitious, knowing what he wants to do with his life. He can be stubborn at times and can be awkward and shy in social situations. Around those he feels comfortable with, he can be fun loving and kind. He is loyal to a fault, willing to do whatever he can for those he cares about. Bio-

Danielle Cage is the daughter of Luke Cage and Jessica Jones. She was named after her father’s best friend Danny Rand or Uncle Danny as Danielle calls him. She didn’t have an average childhood. While kids in her class grew up reading about the Avengers and playing with the toys Danielle was able to stop right over and hang out with Iron-Man or Spiderman. She grew up around the Avengers and other heroes of New York City.

When she was a small child gained the ability to fly which drove her parents insane. As she aged she steadily gained more and more abilities that belonged to her parents. It didn’t take her very long to realize that she wanted to be like the rest of her family and start using her powers for good. Her parents didn’t want her to follow in their footsteps but they knew that didn’t have much of a choice. She was just as stubborn as they were. So they struck a deal with her. She had to graduate from high school first and then attend Academy X where she would be able to learn how to use her abilities safely and even gain more knowledge in the field of superheroing. She agreed to the terms and followed the rules set by her parents. The day after she graduated from high school she was packing her things so she could attend Academy X.

Attending the Academy was different than she expected but she’s still enjoying her time there. She excels in just about all her classes but her main struggle, which honestly hasn’t surprised anyone, is her struggle to listen to authority figures.

Personality-

Feisty is perhaps the first word that one would use to describe Danielle Cage. She’s sarcastic, sassy and always has something to say which has often time lead her into trouble. She loyal to her family and friends and would do anything for them which often time leads her to trouble. Trouble is something that always seems to find Dani. She’s adventurous, courageous and has little to no fear. She’s already to tackle a challenge or something new and scary. This often leads to her making rash decisions without fully thinking something through. This is especially bad when someone she cares about is in trouble. Bio

Torunn Thorsdottir is the daughter of Thor and Lady Sif of Asgard. On her earth Ultron wound up taking over the planet which lead to nothing but devastation. In an effort to protect their children the avengers entrusted Tony Stark with their children. Like the other Avengers Thor wanted to keep his daughter safe so he too sent her to stay with Tony Stark. The remaining Avengers were eventually killed leaving the children with only each other and Tony as their main caretaker. They grew up together in a secret compound that kept them safe from the dangers of the outside world. They grew up training for a danger that they weren’t truly aware of. But Torunn truly didn’t mind it. She wanted nothing more than to gain her father’s approval, to show him that she was worthy, so she trained as hard as she could and became a gifted swordsman and fighter.

Their regular routine came to an end the moment Vision arrived. Torunn and her siblings grew curious as to what was truly going on and wound up finding the Iron Avengers in the repair bay under their parents. The children were intrigued by the Iron Avengers and wanted to learn more about them, they had hope that the robots might have some sort of memories from their actual parents. But the robots wound up activating and since they were programmed to fight Ultron but instead they were assimilated by Ultron and he wound up finding her and her family at their base. Tony was kidnapped but the children managed to get away. They knew they had to go save Tony so they wound up going on a whirlwind adventure that lead to them fighting robots and discovering Francis Barton, the son of Hawkeye. Torunn was the first of her siblings to trust Francis and the two of them became friends and worked quite well together. They tried to defeat Ultron, Torunn even sacrificing herself in hopes of defeating him, but it was useless. Their planet was still destroyed. Thankfully Tony had built a fail safe for them just in case something like this happened. The fail safe sent them to another earth, reality really, and that was how they found themselves in present day New York.

They were found by Desmond Coulson and Adam Fandralson. She knew the moment she looked at Adam that he was an Asgardian like she was and it threw her through a loop since she’s never meet someone else like her before. Her mind continued to spin when she realized that on this earth her father was alive, her siblings parents were alive and that Ultron had been defeated. This Tony wasn’t their Tony and this Thor wasn’t her father. It was confusing for the Asgardian princess and it took her awhile to call this earth her home. She threw herself into training at the Academy and kept to herself or with the company of her siblings and Francis. She didn’t know these people and she didn’t immediately trust them. She eventually opened up to Adam since she was curious about Asgard. But learning what happened to her home in this reality broke her heart and once again left her reeling. She trained harder and focused instead on her decision to follow the SHIELD track once she graduated from the Academy.

Personality

She is loyal through and through. She will always fight for her family and for what she can believe. She can be quite rash and impatient in her decision making which often leads her into trouble but she that isn’t going to stop her from doing what she thinks is right. She can also be very, very, stubborn. The moment she gets an idea in her head she is going to follow through with it. She can be quite oblivious when it comes to other people feelings, especially romantic feelings towards her, since she has no experience in the matter. She can be a bit clueless sometimes about the world around since she’s so new to it but she enjoys learning and is quite curious.

James Rogers, Azari T’Challa and Henry Pym Jr- adopted brothers - Torunn loves these boys more than she loves herself and she would do anything for them. James is the same age as her so they are quite close and she often views him as her best friend. But she’s honestly just as close to Azari and Pym as well. She tends to baby Pym since he is the youngest.

Francis Barton - Close friend / Crush? - She doesn’t view him as a brother figure but they are quite close. She doesn’t realize that he has a crush on her and she isn’t entirely sure of her feelings when it comes to the archer. Adam Fandralson - Close friend / Crush? - Adam was the first person she saw when they landed in this new reality. They connected rather quickly since they had the fact they were both Asgardians living on Midgard. She felt a connection to him because he was the only other Asgardian that she’s ever met. BIO:

Steve Rogers, known to the world as Captain America, was born July 4, 1918 in Brooklyn, New York and was an only child being raised by a single mother, Sarah, after the death of his father at a very young age. He has no memories of his father. Growing up, Steve was a sickly kid and then a sickly teen suffering from many health ailments such as asthma, heart problems, and a very weak immune system which prevented him from being able to do very much. He was very small, smaller than many people his age, and often got bullied because of his small size and slew of health issues. Despite this, he always tried to stand up for the little guy which often left him beaten by the bullies he tried to confront on his own. He met James “Bucky” Barnes when his was a kid after Bucky stepped in to defend him against bullies who tried to steal his money from him. He and Bucky became close, like brothers, after this and were inseparable until Bucky was drafted into the Army and sent overseas some time later.

After the US entered into World War 2, Steve tried and failed multiple times to join the fight by way of the Army. Because of his slight size and slew of health problems he was rejected multiple times but it never stopped the smaller man from attempting to join his friend in the war effort, even making Bucky promise at one point to not win the war until he got there. After rejection after rejection, Steve finally managed to enlist into the Army after volunteering for the top secret Super Soldier Program where he was enhanced to peak human perfection. He joined the war effort originally as a mascot under the moniker Captain America, traveling around the world and doing USO shows to try to help boost morale in the troops. He later joined the effort in combat, single-handedly rescuing Allied POWs, including his best friend Bucky who had been taken as a POW by Hydra.

After the liberation of Allied POWs he formed a group called the Howling Commandos to join him in his quest to eliminate Hydra after their interference and capture of many of his men. He and his team destroyed many Hydra bases in their attempt to get to their leader, Red Skull, and during one of these missions Steve lost his best friend, Bucky, who fell from a train after an ambush. Despite his loss, Steve continued on to help his Allies win the war, entering into a relationship with Agent Peggy Carter during this time. He ended up crashing his jet into the Arctic during a mission and was frozen in ice for over 60 years before being found by SHIELD in the 21st century. After being unthawed, Steve was recruited for the Avengers Initiative and acted as unofficial leader of the group of heroes and spies. He later went on to fight many battles with this group, including defeating Loki and his chitauri army and Ultron.

While on a mission to stop the infamous “Winter Soldier” in Washington, DC with Natasha Romanoff, Steve discovered that not only was his long lost best friend, Bucky, still alive, but he had been brainwashed into becoming a master assassin for Hydra. While fighting it seemed as if Bucky remembered him and even Natasha to a point but due to the heavy brainwashing the slightly older man couldn’t piece his memories together. Still. Steve felt a sliver of hope upon seeing a look of recognition on the face of his best friend who he thought long dead. After the subject of the Sekovia Accords was brought up due to the destruction left behind after every Avengers battle, Steve was against the idea which caused unrest among the Avengers. During the day the Accords were to be signed, someone posing as Bucky attacked and killed many people including King T’Chacka of Wakanda. Convinced of his best friend’s innocence, he tracked him down to Romania where he fought to keep him from being taken by SHIELD. After a showdown with his fellow comrades in arms, Captain America dropped his SHIELD and stepped out of the limelight for a while, taking Bucky to Wakanda at T’Challa’s insistence to be frozen again until they could find a way to undo the brainwashing put in place by Hydra.

Steve spent a few years off the radar, keeping to himself with minimal contact with others from the Avengers other than Sam Wilson and T’Challa (who gave him updates on Bucky).During this time, he entered into a relationship with Sharon Carter, great niece of his first love Peggy. It was when he got a call about a war to protect the Infinity Stones that he donned the Shield again to help defend the galaxy from Thanos in his quest for power. Seven years after the end of the Infinity War, Steve and Sharon settled into a place in New York and were married. He was hired as the Dean of Students at the newly founded Academy X, at Tony and Pepper’s insistence because of his natural leadership abilities, five years later.

After the opening of Academy X and his taking on the role of Dean of Students, five young adults were brought to him by the head of security and his partner after they seemingly appeared out of nowhere. He learned that this group came from an alternate reality and that their Earth had been destroyed by Ultron forcing them to use technology created by Tony Stark as an escape measure should the end of the world happen, to transport themselves to the current reality. Steve found that one of these young adults was named James Rogers and he was the son of Steve and Natasha in his other reality. This, of course, shocked and confused Steve at first since he had never had any romantic inclinations toward Natasha but after a long talk with James, explaining how things were in both of their realities, the two men developed a strong familial bond and Steve took up the role of father in this reality as James never got to truly know Steve in his because he was killed when he was young.

PERSONALITY:

Considered by many to be the world’s first and greatest superhero, Steve Rogers as Captain America is known for his courage and righteousness. Steve has always had a noble and honest spirit, intolerant to injustice and abuses of power.  Since he grew up weak and small, he learned on his own that true strength is having the courage to fight against abuse no matter one's power and having compassion for the innocent. Despite being transformed into a perfect human by the Super Soldier Serum, he maintained his original spirit and character. He still maintains some of the same morals he once had in the 1940s and is respected by many because of this. He has shown to be very empathetic toward other people and a compassionate person.  What separated him from the other Avengers is his humanity and morality. He is an extremely dedicated person and always stands up for the little guy as he was once that guy. Steve is not afraid to stand up for what’s right and to make tough decisions for the greater good, making him an excellent leader.  As a soldier and an Avenger, Rogers knows full well that war has its casualties and some of his dearest friends or even himself may need to make the ultimate sacrifice. He was willing to justify violence and killing to defend others and to preserve peace and freedom. He will still, however, prioritize civilian lives so that more people won’t get hurt in the heat of battle. He is a natural born leader, commanding respect and even loyalty of his fellow Avengers and former Howling Commandos respectively, and is a very charismatic person. RELATIONSHIPS:

James “Bucky” Barnes- Best Friend - Steve and Bucky met as children in Brooklyn and with the exception of his time as the Winter Soldier when Steve thought he was dead, they have been inseparable ever since. Bucky often defended Steve against bullies when they were younger and Steve seemed to return the favor later when everyone believed Bucky to have been responsible for the bombing that killed King T’Chacka. Steve and Bucky are as close as brothers and would literally do anything for one another. Steve was one of the first people Bucky remembered when he started getting his memories back, he actually felt pangs of recognition to the blonde during their fight in Washington, DC but was under orders from Hydra to destroy him thanks to their brainwashing. Still after everything, Steve and Bucky became closer than they ever have because of everything they’ve been through.

Natasha Romanoff - Close Friend- Steve and Natasha became close over the course of their time together with the Avengers, growing closer while working together in Washington, DC during the Winter Soldier situation. Natasha was one to give Steve advice about his relationship with Sharon and ultimately supported him when they decided to date and then marry. Both Steve and Natasha were shocked to find that they had a child together in another reality but after the initial shock wore off they decided to become parents to James in this reality as friends due to his marriage to Sharon and her long term relationship to his best friend, Bucky.

Clint Barton - Close Friend - Steve and Clint started off as rivals much like their children from an alternate Earth, Francis and James, because of their strong leadership qualities but easily fell into a close friendship despite the bickering and snark. They have each other’s backs when they need it and consider to be close friends.

Scott Summers - Close Friend- Steve and Scott immediately hit it off due to their similar personalities and morals. The mutant fascinates the Headmaster just as much as the Headmaster fascinates the mutant and they often hang around together alongside Steve’s best friend, Bucky, who also considers Scott to be a close friend.

While the exact date of birth of James Rogers is unknown due to him being from a different reality, he was born the son of Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff. He lost his parents at a young age in his reality, leading to him being adopted by Tony Stark and raised under his watchful eye after he promised Steve on the day that he died he would get James and his adopted siblings (Torunn, Azari, and Henry Jr, Francis was believed to be dead at the time) to safety upon an attack from Ultron.

James along with his other siblings only knew of the Avengers through Tony’s tales of their former glory days. Bred into a life of constant training, James eventually became weary of the constant routine and started falling behind in his training as he no longer saw any point in it. After the arrival of Vision, James and his siblings got too curious for their own good and followed Tony to reveal a secret entrance to a repair bay, under their parent’s grave markers. While with Torunn, he found the Iron Avengers (Iron Man-based robots tuned after each fallen Avenger). Unable to resist the idea that Iron Captain America could have remnants of his fathers memories, he accidentally activated the robots and their automatic programming sent them to intercept Ultron. Not realizing the danger he caused, the Iron Avengers attacked and were assimilated by Ultron.

They eventually met up with Francis Barton, the son of the original Hawkeye who had been believed to be dead, who helped them infiltrate Ultron’s lair. They were unsuccessful in defeating Ultron who in turn destroyed the entire planet. James, Torunn, Azari, Henry and Francis used technology built by Tony, as a fail safe should the end of the world occur, to transport themselves to another reality; present day New York. They were found by Desmond Coulson and Adam Fandralson who brought them all to the Dean of Academy X. This gave James the shock of his life as it was none other than Steve Rogers, his father from his reality.

He learned from Steve that he never had a relationship with Natasha, in fact he and Natasha were only friends and he had married Sharon Carter five years prior to the opening of Academy X. He also learned from Steve that his mother had been in a serious relationship for the past ten years with his best friend Bucky Barnes, to which James said he was named after due to the love both Steve and Natasha had for the former Winter Soldier. Despite not being his father biologically in this reality, Steve still treated James as if he were and they developed a close bond like that of father and son, something James never got in his reality as Steve died when he was young.

He is unable to just sit back and watch someone picking on the little guy without wanting to step in and help. Unfortunately he sometimes crumbles under the pressure of being a leader, causing him to lash out and neglect his responsibilities when he deems them pointless. He feels guilty for not being able to lead his team to victory against Ultron, feeling if he had been a better leader he could have saved their Earth. Like his father, James can be polite and charming but also a bit naive. He is loyal to a fault and will do what he can for his friends.

Francis Barton was born May 5th of an undetermined year as the only child of Hawkeye, Clint Barton, and Mockingbird, Bobby Morse. His mother was killed during a mission when Francis was very young and he has very few memories of her as he spent most of his time with his father growing up. Most of his memories of her are stories told to him by his father and later Betty Ross and Bruce Banner after his father's death.

When Ultron killed most of the Avengers, Iron Man took their kids and escaped to an isolated location. He believed his teammate, Hawkeye to be dead as well. Unbeknownst to him, Hawkeye had survived along with his son, Francis. Knowing he would not always be there to look out for his son, Hawkeye trained his son in archery and raised him with a group of freedom fighters. After Hawkeye's death, Francis took over leadership of the rebels as well as the mantle of Hawkeye. During one of his raids on one of Ultron's compounds, he found the Asgardian Torunn fighting against Ultron's forces. He rescued her along with her teammates, the Kid Avengers, who he later joined. Although he did not get along well with his male teammates at first, they later put their differences aside and became friends.

Francis developed feelings for Torunn during his time with the Young Avengers that may or may not be reciprocated, it's unclear because of the close relationship between Torunn and fellow Asgardian, Adam, and the latter’s obvious feelings for the beautiful demigoddess. In the end, however, he is grateful to have her as a friend if nothing else.

Upon  crossing over into another reality, Francis was happy to see his father from his previous reality was still alive in their new one. He was not thrilled to no longer be an only child at first, nor were the other Barton kids thrilled to have a random older brother from an alternate reality show up, but they grew on each other after a while, as did his alternate reality step-mother, Laura. Francis chose to teach alongside his father rather than going back to school alongside his fellow Young Avengers, he teaches Beginner Weapons Training.

PERSONALITY:

He is cocky and a little hesitant to make friends, but he is a team player and a great archer, much like his father. He butts head with James because they are both leader figures, making his relationship with James similar to that of his father and Captain America while they were Avengers. He has a soft spot for Torunn due to his feelings for her and would literally do anything for her and strives to be a good friend to her. Outside of his father, new alternate reality siblings and the Young Avengers from his own reality, he doesn't really spend time with others. He likes to keep within his circle.

Torunn Thorsdottir- Closest Friend / Crush - Francis has had a soft spot for the demigoddess, Torunn, ever since he met her which eventually developed into romantic feelings. He would literally do anything for her and considers her one of his closest friends. At times, before being transported to their new reality, Francis thought that Torunn felt the same way but upon her meeting and developing a close friendship with fellow Asgardian, Adam, in this reality he isn't sure what to think. Either way he would sacrifice his own feelings and remain her friend so long as she was happy.

Cooper, Lila and Nathaniel Barton - Alternate Reality Siblings- Upon entering his new reality, Francis learned he had three half siblings from his father's marriage to Laura Barton and was somewhat jealous and bitter about this fact, and vice versa. He wanted to hate them, being cocky and self-entitled when it came to Clint as he was once an only child and gained all of his father's attention growing up. However, after coming to the realization that they never asked to be randomly told they have an older brother from another reality and being thrown through a loop upon his arrival, he decided to give them a chance and he actually came to like and even care for his younger siblings. BIO:

Azari is the son of Black Panther, T’Challa of Wakanda,  and Storm, Ororo Munroe who ascended from mutant to godhood making Azari a demigod. He was taken to safety by Iron Man alongside with James Rogers, Torunn and Henry Pym Jr. to keep them all safe from Ultron. Azari along with his other siblings only knew of the Avengers through Tony's tales of their former glory days. One day while he is playing hide and seek with Pym, The Vision arrives at the refuge. Tony tells everyone to wait in James room until he tells them otherwise. While Azari is fine with waiting, the others are not. He fails at convincing them to wait as Tony instructed. When he failed, he and his siblings found a secret entrance to a repair bay, under their parent's grave markers. As they searched, they found a room full of Iron Man-style robots who resembled each of their parents. While James and Torunn lingered, Azari and Pym kept moving and managed to find Tony and the strange robot. While the pair eavesdropped on Tony and Vision, James accidentally activated the robots. Because they are programmed to defeat Ultron upon activation, they immediately take off to do so, whereupon they are detected by Ultron, revealing the location of the refuge. Ultron fights and then reprograms the Iron Avenger robots to follow now his commands, and quickly proceeds to the refuge. When Ultron found them, they escaped with their lives (along with Vision's head), thanks to Tony distracting the malevolent machine. Although the ship was predestined for the Savage Land, Pym figured a means redirect the shuttle to Ultron's citadel for a counteroffensive.

After failing to defeat Ultron, resulting in the complete destruction of their Earth, Azari traveled to a new reality with his fellow Young Avengers where he found that both of his parents were still alive and his mother and aunt were both working at Academy X. He chose to help his mother in Elemental Powers Training versus attending the extended academy for the XMen Track.

PERSONALITY:

Azari is a down to earth person much like his parents but he had a fierce loyalty to those he cares about, going to extreme ends at times to protect them. When around his adoptive siblings he tends to be a bit playful and likes to annoy James and Francis to get a rise out of them. When with his best friend and adoptive brother, Pym, he tends to get into quite a bit of mischief, doing things they shouldn't do and pranking the others. He is a very skilled fighter, having been taught by his father before his death but tries to avoid conflict when he can.

RELATIONSHIPS:

Lila Barton - Close Friend/Crush - Azari met Lila in the office at Academy X shortly after he took the Assistant Elemental Powers job. At first she kept to herself but he learned later from James it was because she spent her entire life in isolation and had developed social anxiety. Still he slowly befriended her, not judging her because of her issues because who was he to judge something you can’t control? He would do anything in the world for her and lately he has started to look at her as more than a friend, he has a crush on her.

Ororo Munroe / Storm - Alternate Reality Mother - When Azari met his mother in the new reality they immediately bonded after the initial shock wore off. He acts as her assistant in her class and tries to spend as much time with her as he can since he couldn't in his reality.

Shuri - Alternate Reality Aunt - Azari and Shuri hit it off almost immediately when they met and they formed a very close relationship. Shuri was very accepting of her brother’s alternate reality son and treats him as her nephew as he treats her as his aunt.

Henry “Pym” Jr - Best Friend / Adoptive Brother - Azari is closest to Pym out of all of his adoptive siblings and they can often be found where the other is at any given moment. They like to cause playful mischief together and to annoy their oldest siblings just to get a rise out of them.

Francis Barton and James Rogers- Adoptive Brothers - Azari looks up to both Francis and James as both tend to act like leaders of their family of misfits. Azari likes to annoy the two eldest but would literally do anything for them.
