BIO:

Cooper Anthony Barton, known to everyone as Coop, was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota but his family was moved to a farm in a very isolated spot in the minute town of Angle Inlet, Minnesota. His father is an agent of SHIELD and Avenger, Clint Barton better known as Hawkeye, and his mother, Laura, was once a school teacher before they went into isolation. Growing up Cooper always admired his father and his partner, Natasha Romanoff (who he affectionately calls Aunt Nat), because of their work with SHIELD. He enjoyed watching them spar and train with their weapons and he vowed that one day he would follow in their footsteps and join SHIELD. Like his father, Cooper was born deaf but when he was two years old his mother and father opted for him to have the cochlear implant surgery, allowing him to have the ability to hear. Though his father could have followed him, Clint chose not to have the surgery due to personal reasons, having already spent over 30 years deaf and not wanting that much of a drastic change in his routine and only wanting the best for his children.

Growing up mostly in isolation, Cooper didn’t have any friends that weren’t somehow involved with SHIELD. This caused him to become very close and protective of his siblings, Lila and Nathaniel. When Academy X opened it’s doors, Cooper became one of the first students and due to being homeschooled most of his life he was a bit overwhelmed at first. He made top marks in all of his classes, however when it came to social situations he tended to keep mostly to himself, only associating with his siblings, father and Natasha since he didn’t really know how to interact with others his age. He eventually broke out of his shell and though he’s still a bit shy at times, he really enjoys going to all the social functions the academy has to offer. 

Cooper graduated from Academy X with top marks and continued his education at the SHIELD portion of the academy where he is among one of the best in the class due to his extensive training from his father and Natasha before the opening of the academy during their down time. Cooper hopes to one day be as good of an agent as his father, not letting anything stop him from reaching his goals.

PERSONALITY: Cooper is a very determined and intelligent young man who will stop at nothing until he reaches a particular goal. He is very ambitious, knowing what he wants to do with his life. He can be stubborn at times and can be awkward and shy in social situations. Around those he feels comfortable with, he can be fun loving and kind. He is loyal to a fault, willing to do whatever he can for those he cares about. He is very protective over his younger siblings to the point of being overprotective and is a quick learner, making it easy for him to master a craft such as martial arts and weapons training. Cooper lacks interest in sexual and romantic relationships, feeling that romance and sex just aren’t that important to him thus identifying himself as asexual and aromantic.

RELATIONSHIPS: Clint Barton - Father - Cooper and Clint have always been close since they have a lot in common. He admires his father more than anyone in the world and he strives to be as good of a man and agent as him upon graduation. Growing up, his father taught him everything he knows. He would move mountains just to make him proud of him.

Natasha Romanoff - Aunt Figure - Cooper has known Natasha his whole life since she and his father had been partners at SHIELD for many years. Like with his father, Cooper admires Natasha and would often train with her before joining the academy. He thinks of her as an aunt and would literally do anything for her.

Lila and Nathaniel Barton - Siblings - Cooper is very close with is younger siblings. Growing up in isolation all they had was each other so because of this they are closer than most siblings are. Cooper is extremely protective of them to the point of being overprotective and would do anything in the world for them.

Philosophy of Magic

Denahi was four years old when his parents were killed by hunters and three when he was dragged into the world of glamour that was pureblood high society. He wasn’t really old enough to grasp everything that was happening but he knew that the decisions their parents had made, including getting married in the first place, were anything but selfish. Having Sitka around made the grieving process easier and he never really went without love. Despite all this, he grew to almost despise no-majs and certainly hate hunters. There was so much wrong with their world and he failed to see why any wizard or witch should want any part of it.  

As he grew he was given the totem of wisdom, a decision that confused him but he half heartedly embraced. He enjoyed his time at Ilvermorny for a few years until the summer before his younger brother Kenai was to go off for his first year at Ilvermorny. After his brother’s Totem ceremony, the young wizard went after the bear who’d ruined their fishing. The older two brothers went after him, desperate to keep him safe but in the process, Sitka lost his life, the most important support Denahi had was gone. In one fell swoop, he had to grow up.

Denahi tried very hard not to be mad at his younger brother but he couldn’t quite manage it. He loved Kenai, he really did but he was only human. Denahi was hurt, lost and alone while at the same time, having to be none of those things for a younger brother who didn’t seem to fully grasp the gravity of his actions. He didn’t want to blame Kenai for what happened but he did. He couldn’t help it. He wanted nothing to do with the pureblood world of magic but without their parents or older brother he needs to find a way to secure a future. The only problem is that he hates pretty much all the purebloods he meets, can he learn to grin and bear it for a brother he is growing to despise or will he give up?

Carmella didn’t have a traditional nuclear upbringing. She was born and raised in New York City to a wealthy Fashion Mogul, Sophia De Vil who was single at the time. By the time she was five, she was attending fashion shows at Fashion week and by the time she was ten she’d met the heads of nearly every huge fashion house around the world. In such an environment it was inevitable that she would develop an incredible sense of style and ambition but it also warped her values. Carmella is highly critical of women’s bodies, brutally so, she’s pretty harsh on men as well. She values Skinny androgynous people seen often on the runways and the absurdly beautiful. She believes the people bellow her social and economic status are worth less than she is. he believes that money is the most important thing because money can get you a fabulous life style. She is mean, ruthless and completely unapologetic about it. At school, she earned the name “Cruella” and she wore it like a crown, robbing those who used it first of it’s power to shame her.

Despite her many, many flaws, Cruella is a a creative genius when it comes to fashion and she is extremely dedicated to her craft. When she was thirteen, she started fashion blogging and developed a huge following. She became tumblr famous, instagram famous and started making a ridiculous amount of money. Despite being a complete bitch generally, she was enormously protective of her fans, feeling for the first time a sort of unconditional love. Things were going really well for her until her world came crumbling down. Her mother’s business tanked due to a dip in the stock market and many people lost their jobs. The two of them chose to flee to Adamsville to hide from the angry mob now after them.

Cruella’s mother now manages her internet presence, as it is their only means of income while remaining fairly hidden but the set up isn’t perfect, they rely on the townsfolk not outing their location and Cruella isn’t keen on giving her mother any control. She wants to make a name for herself in her own right, she wants to push boundaries her mother is simply unwilling to cross. She has a passion for real, genuine furs and leathers and is always on the lookout for creatures that would make an excellent coat. If Cruella knew about the fantastic furs belonging to the magical creatures around the town, she’d be hunting them down.

Happy, in all honesty, has never been very happy. Much like the other Dwarves, his time as a foster kid had been less than ideal. He dealt with poor living conditions, never getting enough to eat but worse than that, he dealt with neglect. It seemed to him that nobody really cared about him which he thought made sense, he was an orphan wasn’t he? Why should anyone care. His life began to change a little when he moved in with the Dwarves and became a part of their family. He expected that the sadness would go away but it just didn’t, it seemed to be getting worse.

Hank always smiled, no matter what he went through, no matter what he felt deep down. He thought if he kept smiling, he would one day feel happy, it hasn’t worked yet but people seem to have been fooled by his mask, including his family. As a child, people always felt close to Happy since he seemed so happy, in truth, he has never once made an honest connection with anyone. He knows he should be honest with himself and the people around him but how could he possibly to that? He was Happy after all, people depended on him to be the happy influence in all things. If he keeps this up, he knows he’ll fall apart but they way he sees it, he has no choice but to see how long he’ll last.

He hails from an alternate reality where he is the biological son of Scott Summers (Cyclops) and Jean Grey (Phoenix) but rather than being born naturally he was artificially created in a lab by a man by the name of Mr. Sinister using genetic material of both Scott and Jean. Sinister created Nate to be the ultimate mutant. It is possible that, with practice, Nate could be the most powerful psionicist on the planet. Unfortunately, his powers are so powerful that he often has little control over them and their continuous use actually slowly are killing him  (Power Reserve is used very often). Powered combat exhausts him (and sometimes forces him to do Desperate Recovery Checks).

Cyclops, who didn’t know of his connection to Nate, helped to save Nate from Mr. Sinister and Nate was subsequently raised by Forge. His native reality was ruled by its version of Apocalypse. Those struggling against Apocalypse, including X-Man, eventually managed to undo their past and erase their reality, so it would be replaced by one where Apocalypse didn’t conquer the world during the late XXth century. A handful of persons survived, including Nate, and was transported to the current reality in New York.

Throughout his lifetime he longed for a family, never really getting to have a traditional childhood.  As Nate was the product of cloning and accelerated aging, he has not had a traditional emotional development. As such, he has never made any place for yesterdays or never made any room for tomorrow. He expects to die young, although he really does not want that, out of using his powers. Upon arriving in New York in his new reality, he met his parents and they fully accepted him as their son as they were not able to conceive children of their own in their reality. He also learned around the same time that he had a sister from another reality named Rachel to whom he also became close to. His parents and sister help him to control his powers, which he had yet to get full control over, and he attends Academy X with the intent of continuing his studies on the XMen track upon graduation as it’s his last year. Missing his friends back in his reality, Nate tries to make friends in his current reality, getting close to the underclassman Nathaniel Barton to whom he admires due to his carefree attitude and optimism.

PERSONALITY:

Nate is a heroic, but angry young man seeking a place in an unfamiliar world. He is a firm protector of the underdog, although his methods are somewhat violent for the standards of society in our world.As Nate was the product of cloning and accelerated aging, he has not had a traditional emotional development. As such, he has never made any place for yesterdays or never made any room for tomorrow. He expects to die young, although he really does not want that, out of using his powers.His subconsciousness has sometimes turned off parts of his powers as a last way of conserving his energies so that he might continue to live.Thus, he has often been his own worst enemy, jeopardizing his life when locking out the use of his powers at critical points in time. He has also many times been responsible for creating both menaces and miracles around himself subconsciously ; these effects, however, always end up giving him troubles later on. Other solutions to his problems are that Nate sometimes has discussions with holographic versions of his friend and himself to sort things out.He often thinks about his place in things ; that he doesn’t really belong in this world, or does he? He longs for his friends left behind at the Age of Apocalypse. Nate will help strangers any time, particularly kids. Nate often does things just to spite someone, even himself. He’s a good kid at heart so this is not for evil reasons, but just to prove the point. 

Nate has spent some time among homeless people helping them out in various ways as well since they too are, in a way, outcasts like himself. Nate often visits the Washingtone Square Park in New York’s Greenwich Village to play host to an eclectic crowd of city dwellers and tourists alike and help them out as needed using his psi-talents. This activity provides Nate with a refuge and a sense of purpose.

Jean Grey-Summers -

Alternate Reality Mother - Nate never really got to know his parents since he was the result of genetic cloning so when he met Jean and Scott in the current reality he fully embraced the parents he had always longed for. As Jean is one of the most powerful mutants in the current reality, like himself in his, he often goes to her to help him with his abilities as he is still not able to control them. He and Jean have a very close and loving relationship to which the latter fully embraced Nate as her son as she was unable to conceive in her reality.

Scott Summers - Alternate Reality Father - When Nate met Scott, he was reminded of the Scott who saved his life in his reality and how he wished he had developed a relationship with him them despite not knowing he was his father at the time until much later. Nate and Scott have a close and loving relationship, the latter having fully embraced Nate as his son much like his wife, and he often goes to his father for advice.

Rachel Grey-Summers - Alternate Reality Sister - Nate thought it was cool that he had a sister from another reality like himself and that their parents embraced and adopted them both upon their arrival in the current timeline. He and his sister have a very close relationship and help each other deal with the pasts they left behind in their realities. Nate is very protective of his sister as she is of him and he would do anything in the world for him.

BIO:

Cassandra Eleanor Lang, better known as Cassie, was born December 23, 2010 to Scott and Maggie Lang. Cassie was born with a congenital heart defect and her father resorted to becoming a petty thief in order to attempt to pay for the surgery she needed to save her life, eventually causing him to spent time in prison. While her father was in prison, her parents divorced and her mother remarried. Despite the fact that Cassie still idolized her father, her step father still treated her as if she were his own child. Upon Scott’s release from prison, she got to visit him every weekend as per the custody agreement her parents put into place after their divorce. During one of these weekends her health took a turn for the worse and she was hospitalized, the prognosis not looking good unless she had a surgery that only Dr. Sondheim could perform. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, Dr. Sondheim was in need of rescuing which lead her father to steal the Ant Man suit and Pym Particles from Hank Pym in order to save the doctor who would eventually save her life.

Although Scott tried his best to keep his superhero life a secret, Cassie eventually found out about him being Ant Man. She became fascinated with his life as a superhero and began secretly experimenting with her father’s stash of Pym Particles that he had stolen in the beginning. Her mother and step-father eventually learned of Scott’s life as a superhero and felt it was too dangerous for Cassie so they claimed full custody of her and she and Scott were only allowed to see each other during supervised visitations. When Cassie was 12 she would often sneak out while her mother and step-father were asleep to see her father in secret, a fact that Scott was both happy and upset about as he didn’t want to lose all visitation rights should they get caught.

Shortly after she began experimenting with Pym Particles in secret, she grew to be 10 feet tall in front of her mother and step-father after an angry outburst over not getting to see her father. Maggie called Scott and asked him how that could be possible and after talking to Cassie they learned she had been secretly sneaking her father’s stash in an attempt to become a superhero like Scott. Not knowing how to handle Cassie with her new abilities, Maggie transferred custody to Scott so that he could teach her how to use her abilities with the help of the other Avengers.

After the opening of Academy X, Cassie decided to continue mastering her abilities and began training to be an agent of SHIELD at the SHIELD Academy within Academy X. She befriended Jian Hogunson when she met him on her first day of SHIELD training and soon the two became almost inseparable. She considers him to be her best friend. Jian was the first person she came out to when she realized she was a lesbian and he encouraged her to tell her parents. Her father was very accepting over the fact that his daughter likes girls over boys and her mother took some time to warm up to the idea before eventually accepting her. Her step father never fully accepted her but he has not changed the way he treats her despite this fact.

PERSONALITY:

Cassie is concurrently uncertain of herself but determined to live up to the heritage of her father. She can be trusting and very emotional, but not in a prone to hissy-fits manner, being more empathic about those around her. She is very loyal to those she cares about and is willing to do what she can to help them, even if she tends to second guess herself. She does everything she can to make her father proud of her because he is her biggest hero.

RELATIONSHIPS: Jian Hogunson - Best Friend - Cassie met Jian on the first day of SHIELD training and they immediately hit it off becoming almost inseparable. They tell each other everything so when she realized she was a lesbian, he was the first person she told since he knew about him being bisexual and having a thing for their mutual friend Des. He encouraged her to tell her parents and fully accepted her. She thinks of Jian as an older brother and would do anything for him.

Desmond Coulson - Friend - Cassie met Des when he moved in with his uncle Phil as a teenager and they hit it off. She likes to talk to Des, being the first gay person she had met and would often go to him for advice before meeting Jian and realizing her own sexuality. She likes Des and thinks he and Jian would be good together if they would just get the nerve to tell each other how they feel.

BIO:

Henry Pym Jr, better known as simply Pym, is the son of the Ant Man, Hank Pym, and Wasp, Hope Pym (nee van Dyne). He was taken to safety by Iron Man alongside with James Rogers, Torunn and Azari T’Challa to keep them all safe from Ultron. Pym along with his other siblings only knew of the Avengers through Tony's tales of their former glory days.

One day while he is playing hide and seek with Azari, The Vision arrives at the refuge. Tony tells everyone to wait in James room until he tells them otherwise. After Azari fails at convincing them to wait as Tony instructed. When he failed, he and his siblings found a secret entrance to a repair bay, under their parent's grave markers. As they searched, they found a room full of Iron Man-style robots who resembled each of their parents. While James and Torunn lingered, Pym and Azari kept moving and managed to find Tony and the strange robot. While the pair eavesdropped on Tony and Vision, James accidentally activated the robots. Because they are programmed to defeat Ultron upon activation, they immediately take off to do so, whereupon they are detected by Ultron, revealing the location of the refuge. Ultron fights and then reprograms the Iron Avenger robots to follow now his commands, and quickly proceeds to the refuge. When Ultron found them, they escaped with their lives (along with Vision's head), thanks to Tony distracting the malevolent machine. Although the ship was predestined for the Savage Land, Pym figured a means redirect the shuttle to Ultron's citadel for a counteroffensive.

After failing to defeat Ultron, resulting in the complete destruction of their Earth, Pym traveled to a new reality with his fellow Young Avengers where entered into Academy X as a final year student with plans to continue his education after graduation at the SHIELD Academy portion of the academy with his friends.

PERSONALITY:

Pym is the jokester and prankster of the alternate reality Young Avengers, often getting into trouble for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. He is outgoing and somewhat childish at times, still viewing the world with a sense of awe and innocence. He is, however, very smart and has an almost genius level intelligence in the field of science and engineering much like his parents and adoptive father. While he is not as strong or fast in his normal human form as some of his adoptive siblings, he makes up for it with a strong willed dedication and need to protect his family and friends as well as the ability to produce energy blasts to help take out enemies. He has the ability to shrink himself like his parents and like his mother he develops a set of wings while in smaller form allowing him to fly.

RELATIONSHIPS:

Azari T’Challa - Best Friend / Adoptive Brother - Pym is closest to T’Challs out of all of his adoptive siblings and they can often be found where the other is at any given moment. They like to cause playful mischief together and to annoy their oldest siblings just to get a rise out of them.

Francis Barton and James Rogers- Adoptive Brothers - Pym looks up to both Francis and James as both tend to act like leaders of their family of misfits. Pym likes to annoy the two eldest but would literally do anything for them.

Torunn Thorsdottir - Adoptive Sister - Pym and Torunn have a close relationship where Torunn often plays the part of protector over Pym due to him being the baby of their family. Pym, however, would do anything for Torunn as she would him.

BIO:

Jian Hogunson was born in Hong Kong to Genji May and the Asgardian warrior Hogun the Grim. During one of his trips to Midgard, Hogun met Genji and fell in love.  Shortly after Hogun was called back to Asgard, Genji found out she was pregnant with Jian and he was born later that year in October. He was raised in China but saw his father often despite the realm difference, often alternating between visiting Asgard and his father coming to visit him in China.

Jian started learning martial arts at a young age, as is the norm in China and among children of Asgardian Warriors, and became skilled at a young age in many styles of martial arts and melee weapons training. He was taught quite a few Asgardian fighting techniques by his father and fellow Warriors Three during his visits to Asgard. It was there he met Adam, son of Fandral, and they became close friends since they were both sons of Warriors Three members and often trained together.

Shortly after Jian turned 12, his mother was diagnosed with cancer and despite the best efforts of her doctors she succumbed to the disease a year later. He was sent to live with his maternal aunt, Melinda May, who resided there and worked as an agent for SHIELD. He met Director Coulson’s nephew, Desmond, shortly after moving to New York while he was visiting his uncle and they became close friends. In fact, Desmond helped him deal with the death of his mother and the sudden death of his father at the hands of Hela in Asgard a few months after.

Jian spent most of his time living with his aunt learning different skills from her, like how to fly a plane and more advanced hand to hand training. Jian returned to China for two years upon receiving his inheritance at 18 to sell off his childhood home and tie up loose ends left behind after his  mother's death, he then travelled for a while trying to “find find himself” before returning to New York.

Jian came out as bisexual in his late teens after dating a few girls and coming to the realization that one man always stood out to him. He had a hard time coming to terms with his feelings for Des, not wanting to jeopardize their friendship should the other man not feel the same. It was perhaps his feelings for Des that delayed his return to New York for a time but when he eventually did, he chose to attend classes at Academy X partly to follow in his Aunt's footsteps in becoming an agent of SHIELD and partly to spend more time with Des. Maybe one day he will get to nerve to tell his friend how he feels, he only hopes that he will not live to regret it.

PERSONALITY:

Jian is a very friendly and outgoing person, often becoming the center of attention due to his eccentric nature. He is very open-minded and free-spirited, often marching to the beat of his own drum. However, he is not one to be messed with as he can have a bit of a short temper and believes in karma always coming back around to bite those who do harm to others. Jian is a very loyal person, willing to do anything for the people he cares about and is a quick learner which enabled him to excel in his training prior to attending the SHIELD program at Academy X. He loves love and often plays matchmaker with his friends. He can also be somewhat of a flirt and can sometimes have a somewhat perverted sense of humor. Desmond “Des" Coulson - Close Friend / Romantic Interest - Jian met Des when he moved in with his aunt Melinda and they became close during the times the older man came to visit his uncle. He developed a crush on him over the course of their friendship and worries if he tells him how he feels it will ruin their friendship. He is oblivious to the fact the the feelings are reciprocated.

Cassie Lang - Best Friend - Jian met Cassie on the first day of SHIELD training and they immediately hit it off. He considers her to be one of his closest friends and he was among the first people she told when she came out as a lesbian. He encouraged her to tell her parents and fully accepted her as they two belonged to the LGBTQ community. He would do anything for Cassie and adores her like a sister

Adam Fandralson and Torunn Thorsdottir - Close Friends - Jian immediately hit it off with his fellow Asgardians and thinks of them as extended family. While Jian and Adam had spend time in Asgard (Adam grew up there), Torunn had not so both older Asgardians like telling the young demigoddess stories of their homeland. Jian would do anything in the world for either of them and cares for them deeply.
