My eyes glistened with true beauty from the light you reflected onto me

I lay next to you in bed

There are no longer sparks 

None

Instead there is a raging fire 

It burns my whole body setting it ablaze 

He has charred my heart 

It still works but at what cost

It works at the cost to feel the most painful something

The golden light has shifted over to white blinding my eyes taking the color away from my iris

But is it better to be blind though

To be blind and not see the problem rather than seeing it full color with every fault 

I turn my head to face you 

And I ask myself the same question I have been for these past three months

Is it better to feel nothing than something

( The chorus reminds me of this)

It hits  the floor every couple of seconds

Pat pat pat pat 

It will go unnoticed 

It’s not staining the bright white tiles red 

Instead it seeps in between the cracks where you will need to squint to see it

I’m not expecting for someone to see it

Afterall no one will get down on hands and knees to look in between tiles
