A bit back, I did a tattoo poetry hybrid experiment. I put out a call to see who of all you wonderful people would be willing to get a word or two tattooed from a poem I would write for us all. Just a hair under 50 of us agreed to do it, and so I wrote the poem. The first word, ‘Murmurations’ found its way to my forearm, as it’s my favorite word of am. This word, ‘wingbeats’ ended the poem, and lives on the feet that run @sarahlinden over the mountains, across the sands, through the dark forests of home. Soon, I will show you the entire poem, presented as ink on skin, impermanently permanent, spread across this planet. Walking poetry.
