“Hey, I’m finishing, wanna grab a drink?” JJ appeared at Emily’s desk and leaned against it.
“Are they going?” Emily looked at the rest of the team leaving the bullpen out of the glass doors before looking back at JJ.
“I haven’t asked them, I thought we could have a girls night.” JJ smiled at the idea.
Emily closed a case file, “better ask Garcia,”
JJ sighed, “I was thinking just the two of us, we’ve not done it in a long time.”
Emily looked up and cocked an eyebrow, “I’m good thanks.”
JJ rolled her eyes and stood away from Emily’s desk, she folded her arms across her chest defensively, “why not?”
Emily tidied her desk up before grabbing her bag, she stood up and grabbed her coat.
She looked at JJ and swallowed, “you know why.”
