What would happen if Africans supported each other, in business, in friend circle and basic everyday life?
Affirmation: Weâll put down our egos and create a better continent.Â

I miss that day! How can you reflect your country with your outfit?
I created a simple black elegant look with my cap being my flag. My only regret was to do something with my hat but overall I loved it!Â

In the past few months, Iâve been hit with the awareness of all the great achievements Africans and African diaspora have created. But Iâve also been made aware of the lack of support they receive from their own people. I know Iâm not the best either but I want to change that and be better! So please let me know what are your favorite African business or organizations and Iâll share mine as well! Africans and African diasporas are doing amazing things, letâs not forget to celebrate them!

Whereâs a place you and your friends need to travel to?
The Virgin Islands was the ultimate girls trip for me and I can't wait for more girl trips in 2019!!!
It was a week of island hopping, wild adventures and long waiting times because 6 girls mean getting ready takes 3x more time than usual :)Â
So where are you going this year?
Travel has a tendency to look very glamorous but thatâs not always the case. Iâve been getting a lot of comments about how perfect my life looks, and thatâs concerning because there is really no such thing. Social media is a great way to share pieces of my journey, but know that thereâs always more to the story. I donât post images of the times Iâve been homesick, frustrated from limited wifi or language barriers, or the one time I accidentally booked a weekâs stay at a place infested with bugs (đ). Not to mention the difficulties of remaining on a plant-based diet in Africa lol. Even though this is a dream come true from me, it comes with its own share of challenges that I have to overcome. But thatâs all part of the experience, so I take the downs with the ups.
Iâm coming back to Tumblr like I never left!

Series: Education struggles in South Sudan -Â Nyaboth, 6, holds her family stove that she carries to school to sit on during class. She says âThere is nothing to sit on at school and as soon as I bring the stove home my mother needs it straight away for cookingâ, she says with a smile. âThe war brought me and my family here. I saw so many bad men with guns shooting people, I saw so many wounded. It made me very sad, it was so bad and it made me sad. I am very happy at school, my favourite subject is math. I live here in the POC with my mother and I feel safe.â
