Para may Day 2: Para + Family
The family dynamics are always changing for this para but I'm going to describe what it is like now.
My para comes from a quite wealthy family. She lives with her mum, dad, sister, two brothers, brother-in-law and nephew.
Lily is very close with her mum. Her mum, like her, is very into the performing arts and taught Lily a lot of what she now knows. Her mother owns a performing arts studio where Lily practiced for over half her life. They bond over their love for musical theatre and dance (something most of the family can't/ can no longer relate to). Her mum is a very supportive "dance mum". She's very invested in her daughter's life and is familiar with her friends and stuff like that.
Lily and her dad can get along but sometimes butt heads because they are both stubborn af. Her dad's a lawyer and taught Lily how to defend herself a little too well that she sometimes uses that against him. The whole family jokes about how alike they are. But overall, there relationship is good.
All of Lily's siblings are significantly older than her so they still see her as a baby, which annoys her quite a lot. She has her oldest brother Daniel. He is very protective of her and is always trying to give guidance that she rarely ever takes. Her other brother Luke is probably the sibling she gets along with the most. They're like the jokers of the family. They share a lot of things in common when it comes to tv shows, music, sports etc. She then has her older sister, Rosé, who is her youngest sibling. She finds it harder to spend time with her because she's married and has a child but she loves her sister's company. Her sister offers the typical older sister advice, but Lily, if you haven't noticed, is reluctant to any advice from anyone. They often argue quite a bit over petty things but it's never anything serious.
He's still somewhat new to the family but they're on good terms and she likes him.
She is in love with her nephew. She has always had this craving to be a big sister and this was kind of her chance. She is always trying to hang out with him, although her sister is scared she may not be the best influence but no one else in their family sees the harm.
There is a little bit of tension between both sides of the family, mainly between grand parents. She is definitely closer to her mother's side of the family, mainly because of geographical proximity. Her maternal side is from France while her Paternal side is from the Philippines- she lives in England. Her maternal aunt and cousins lives in England with them. She has one cousin, Julian, who she is extremely close with. He's the same age as her, just a few months older. They're in the same friend group. They've mostly attended the same school and he is also into performing arts. They've known each other since they were babies. He has a younger sister, Isabelle, Lily's other cousin, who she is also really close too.
