Inspiration: Augustrope Day 3 - Beach Episode
Story/Paracosm: Into the Sanctuary
I realised i never daydreamed a beach episode about them, or at least i don't remember it, so here goes cause boy do they deserve a nice beachy afternoon
The beach on Sancturnia is long and thin, and the waves fresh and seeming to have a mind of their own—seems like Sancturnia's waters are a part of It afterall. That doesn't stop its inhabitants to have fun though, as they're used to the island being a bit too sentient.
Harvey and Nick are making the greatest sandcastle to ever be. brue gives them suggestions of stuff to add, Kai, Lils and Viaris help decorating with seashells and constructing the moat (Brue also helps with that, the moat is an all hands on deck situation)
Nick and Kai and the ones spending the most time in the water.
Brue also love it, but mostly she tries to sneak attack them and it starts a water fight.
Viaris, Lils, Brue and Nick would be the type to play volleyball and such.
The first time they did this, Harvey's wheelchair got messed up, and they immediately started working on a new "beach mode".
Lilly (Kai's little sister) and Pitch (their little brother) would be fans of tidepools. Just observing the little creatures living their life there.
Lilly would also collect seashells with Viaris and Kai to use later in art projects (necklaces, maybe even integrated in a dress, mosaics, to embed in pottery work...)
Theo, Pitch's best friend, would be the kind to read on the beach. Pitch ends up dragging him to the tide pools to show him a cool crab, and they somehow end up playing in the water.
Tia and Markus are also the type to read on the beach, though after hearing the kids go on after the cool things they saw in the tidepools, Tia would go and see. She'd take the occasion to teach them some fun facts about the wildlife they're seeing.
Markus also acts as a lifeguard, just in case. He looks like he's in his bubble, uncaring about what's going on around him, but he's watching. the only reason the kids know that is the absolute jumpscare they get when they walk past him and get grabbed by the ankle to re-apply sunscreen if they're on a beach where there's sun (Nick is not exempt from this, despite being so entrenched with the element of fire that it's impossible for him to get sunburns. Even when he does get burns, they heal in a hour or two). The island doesn't have a sun per say, the magic is the one providing light, so on Sancturnia this is not really a concern.
Roman plays volley and joins the water shenanigans after trying to act as a lifeguard for like... 5 minutes.
Vi is the one to remind everyone to condition their hair and hydrate their skin when they get home.
After this kind of outing, it'snot uncommon to find Kai, Viaris, Brue, Lils, Harvey and Nick all asleep in a pile in the tea salon; while you'll often find Theo and Pitch cuddling in a hammock and Lilly laying in the grass, taking a nap or watching the stars.
Marcus and Roman are often exhausted, and will either head to bed directly or fall asleep in a couch or chair in a very dad fashion. You know exactly what I mean.
Meth has Injectors embedded in rotts arms that will distribute a heavy sedative throughout the day and will inject the entire dose if rott looses control and snaps into anger

Easiest to traverse through to the point that normal people occasionally open portals to Kukuri/Tonta from Ora. It's rare cause you have to know about how Dimensions work (otherwise it's much more likely you open a portal to a neighboring Universe or between Borders and get eaten), but it happens

) Randomly opens Portals in Tonta
) Seems to just be a giant desert and can be used to cut down travel times
) Occasionally someone does an Expedition inside to figure out whats up with the place and update existing maps, but usually wherever portals show up sends a couple mages to close them manually or they time out on their own
) So far the only Oblivion Native found was a Demon demanding Sweets
Convergence
) Only Pathway opens only once when a new Universe is mostly established and Convergence Inhabitants invade to test it's resilience
) This is where True Immortals go to live out the rest of existence in some kind of happy memories time loop

) No idea, mostly kept around in case I ever need another place that doesn't fit anywhere else

I keep wanting to make a "How does the Paracosm work" Basic guideline post (or posts), but I constantly run into the problem of not knowing where to start.
Cause like...to explain how Universes are made and function, I need to talk about how many dimension there are and while I'm already zoomed out I gotta mention the Judges, the Fates and the current Incarnation of Death, but to talk about Death I have to...explain...how Universes are made....

Oceans Apart
So so so many snippets of OA!Shal getting forcibly taken care of. Something something daydreaming reflecting the thing needed in reality x_x
It has also learned the joy of watching TV with OA!Shiny because sometimes an Antagonist will talk in it's language.
OA!Shiny meanwhile has come to the conclusion that training OA!Shal and then showing it off to her friends is a worthwhile goal. No this will not include a professional trainer.
Also a factory worker is trying to contact OA!Captain regarding worker safety/efficency ideas. No clue what that is about, but that scene was on repeat for a while so... *shrug*
[A big problem I have with this storyline is that everytime I find media/ideas that would fit thematically to progress the story, I then have to translate that into an alien society and uuuuuurgh. Someone force me to sit down and do a proper worldbuilding document for this]

UW!Captain knows that UW!Shal is being blackmailed by xyr "Brother" Slate, yet finds this mostly amusing and ok to go on as long as xe gets regular updates. Cause their "Father" has finally decided that xe's to old for this shit, so we now have a Crimelord Succession war going on in the background.
UW!Navika (hey look, Captain's twin got a name!) has made it clear to UW!Captain that yin knows about the Domestic Abuse happening. Yet only just to remind xym that yin is gonna kill xym personally if another unplanned corpse turns up near xym.
Talliv decided to put his fate in UW!Captain's hand by coming clean about being a police informant. Which is why the entire core group is now on a improptu Swamp Cabin Vacation while they figure out what to do with this info.
This coming right after they have finally set up an international drug smuggling route via public passenger trains. Like Talliv really though being honest at the fucking afterparty would be in any way helpful. UW!Captain has been understandably furious about this whole thing and you may now take a wild guess who xe is taking that anger out on :/
[Unused Words is also the easiest to plug and play temporary obsessions into, which has led to so many false starts. Which are fun for me, but also don't progress the story]
Hunting Grounds
One thing I've noticed about this storyline is that it kinda functions like....binge dreaming. Whenever I figure out the next deathgame I am gone for however long it takes to daydream the whole thing through. Which is not ok. But I also love it.
This has led to me forcibly putting off daydreaming this story cause it really conflicts with my attempts to be a functional human(tm). Which sucks cause I really love this world and the alternate takes on my Blorbos it has produced. I haven't fully figured out how to deal with that.
Anyway, the last game I finished was "Couple's Concert"
Players: 6, paired into 3 rooms
Place: Entirely closed off Dorm like structure + adjacent Concert stage; Furnishing inlcudes some objects referencing games the players had been in before; Kitchen restock every other day;
Goal: Perform a daily Concert for 2 weeks, based on a prompt every morning; Performances get scored;
Twist: 1 of each couple has a secret goal (Specific Rankings; Key that goes nowhere; sabotage performances;)
Notable moments:
) HG!Acid is part of the Games now which lead to very funny scenes of him and HG!Shal pretending really hard that this is the first time they have met. Meanwhile HG!Captain has already connected the dots due to them sharing some very specific gestures.
) They all revealed their secret goals and came to the group decision to only focus on the Performance rankings cause that Player would only need one more win to leave the Games entirely after this one.
) Kinda betraying that, HG!Captain figured out where HG!Shals key lead to and locked em into a hidden room. Xe participated a couple more days, letting HG!Shals intense claustrophobia take it's course, before also leaving. Which triggered another hidden door leading them outside the game space.
And that's how they both ended up being chained to opposite walls where they have just been yellin at each other for a while now oO
