I unintentionally went off my antidepressants and ADHD meds for a week because I wasn't able to refill my prescription before leaving town. I think I was the most tired I have ever been but the thought of killing myself also felt like crawling into a cozy bed instead of standing in a walk-in freezer. I refilled my prescription today but would be lying if I said I didn't like the warm relief over the cold shame.
