âIt wouldnât be too much, but you have plenty of trainees, not just her,â She nodded towards Emily. âPerhaps you could use just a second set of eyes and hands when it comes to handling the trainees.â It would be strange for Daisy to offer this normally, but there was a part of her to see Emily succeed, if not to just show Semira that even those who do not seem to have any sort of promise to prove themselves. It was a pride thing, after having being told when she was starting out that she wouldnât amount to anything.Â
âI can tell.â Daisy appraised Emily for a moment. The girl didnât have the look of a death dealer, but that wasnât always the deciding factor.Â
âThat we can agree on.â Semira decided after a moment. âI could use another person, especially as we gain more recruits.â
She turned her gaze back to Emily then.
âAs long as you understand the risks of what youâre deciding, I have no issues training you. You will be probably our physically weakest trainee. The others have been vampires for at the very least a century or more now, and you will be starting completely fresh. Training with them could result in serious injury, and going against lycans will be a threat to your life.â
âIâm down with that.â Emily stated. âI can handle it.â
âSo âdown withâ means... you're agreeing?âÂ
âWord, youâre getting it.â she replied with a smile.Â
