SOLLUX: nothiing major. ii wa2 part of an experiiment and caught a cold from 2omeone. 2o ii had two 2tay put. SOLLUX: but yeah, iive been a lot better now. … yeah 2omeone 2aiid the 2ame thiing. but liike ii 2aiid, iim fiine. iit gave me 2omethiing two do and dii2tract my2elf wiith.

This girl… she hit the nail on the head, but again, whoever was Japanese should have figured Majima was, indeed, part of a Yakuza family at some point. If his looks alone didn’t scream it out already, there was also the way he carried himself.

‘Eh? What’s that character’s name? Ya remember it?’ He didn’t even know the girl, but her claim made him interested. ‘Yakuza an’ socks, huh? I hear there’s socks that give ya luck with income if ya wear them, but that’s all jus’ talk. Never got a skinny yen for wearing different socks myself.’

“Of course I remember it---I would be a shame to my title if I didn’t remember a game character’s name.”

Of all  the things he would expect a stranger to walk up and say well…that might have been among them. But nobody in this city had yet commented upon his hair. Instinctively, his hands came up to brush through the dark, silky locks of hair, blinking as he turned to regard the girl.

“Oh! Ah…thank you. Yours looks quiet lovely as well. Did you…need something?”

Oh good---that didn’t come off as too incredibly weird. She could do this, she could make new friends.

At least she really hoped.

“Oh... thank you.”

“Uhm... No, I don’t......well sort of... I think.” Pausing for a moment she thought about this.

How exactly should she breech this topic? Do people normally just go up to strangers and go ‘I would like to become acquaintances or even perhaps friends’? She’d have to think about this like a game. But did she even have the correct stats to be talking to this man in the first place? No she definitely had to---she was able to talk to him. Wait there wasn’t a system in place in real life to prevent that. Oh no she was over thinking this for way too long.
