I don’t Trust it, it being on some random account with that as the only post. This happened yesterday too. Is this a scam or an actual thing? I don’t know why it would be an a fail thing, seems majorly fishy. Anyone else been getting this?

Edit: 100% a scam. The link there is fake, they put a tumblr url but linked it as something else and it’s asking for my bank data. This happened yesterday and I blocked the account and reported it yesterday but now it’s happened from a whole other account. I’m pissed. Anyways link takes you to a completely external site, if you get this notification just block and report

“Staff do not contact users via comments, Asks, or DM's to tell people there are issues with their accounts, so yes, this is a scam! These are scam accounts trying to get people to go to a phishing website which will steal your information. Stop and think: did you pay money when you signed up for tumblr? Does the url address say 'tumblr dot com?' Did you try googling if it was a scam? Those are the type of things people tend to not stop and think about. :)”

So before you go falling for that sugar daddy scam, 'i accidentally reported your account' or 'verify your account' scam, make sure you check where those blogs have left their comments!

I was notified by a user that the scammers are now changing their comment copy/pasta script up and aren't using the "I have something important to tell you it’s about to your account, but i can’t message you idk whyy??" line anymore and are instead using this one.
