While reading the Chiaki manga, I noticed that a lot of scenes, particularly in Trial 2 felt really… off? Off in the sense that Peko and Fuyuhiko’s reactions and body language doesn’t seem to match the situation they are in.

The most egregious example of this is when Fuyuhiko tells Peko he couldn’t reduce her to a tool.

This scene is meant to hold HUGE emotional weight, considering Peko is about to die, and Fuyuhiko (OBVIOUSLY) knows this. Peko’s whole worldview is quite literally coming apart at the seams, and for some reason they're both… looking right at eachother? The artist unintentionally frames this as a casual conversation by having Fuyuhiko smiling, while looking DIRECTLY at Peko, making the significance of what he is saying completely drop.

Fuyuhiko likely feels INSANE levels of guilt, fear, and self loathing at this moment, not only because of Natsumi, but because Peko is quite literally about to be executed for something HE originally planned (or more so tried to convince himself) to do. He wouldn’t be making eye contact with her, because he wouldn’t be ABLE to. The game does this well, with most of his sprites in trial 2’s conclusion being him looking AWAY from Peko.

Another problem I have is with the dialogue during her execution.

Having her say “it was a joy to serve under you” feels SO iffy given the fact that in the game BOTH of them express discomfort at her position as “tool”. Neither are happy with it, Peko just has to suppress how she really feels about her role. It makes NO sense for her to be saying this, and it just comes across as an accidental misreading of her character. Maybe I’m being too harsh but this line wasn’t even NEEDED anyway. It doesn’t add anything to the tragedy of the execution.

I’m also not a fan of the “Please Peko, don’t go!” pages.

It feels weird to have her looking away from him when he’s actively breaking down, but NOT when he’s telling her that he never saw her as a tool. Surely they’d BOTH be looking at each-other for comfort the minute they both fully realise the gravity of the situation, that she is ACTUALLY going to die and theres no turning back. (This is subjective though, if you like this way of looking at the scene, I won’t stop you.)

Some of yall may have heard some of the shit that has been going on right now. I'm gonna give a quick run down of some of the stuff that has been happening. Note, this is not all, and it may never be all as much as I will try to update this.

1) Racist Chinese Dolls.

There are these dolls in China that are being called "Natasha" baby dolls. These dolls are not only very obvious caricatures of black people, but they are being advertised as a "stress relief" in which the people who buy these abuse it in various ways.

2) The Mocking, Abuse, and Dehumanization of Black Children.

Apart from the aforementioned doll, there are apparently people going around mocking, abusing, and dehumanizing black children.

Some people have compared black children to the doll.

Others have been going into African countries and have found ways to mock, abuse, and dehumanize black children for clout.

3) Black people are going missing.

Black people, especially children and teens have recently been going missing at an alarming rate. Some of these same people are turning up dead, deaths being ruled as "suicides."

While it generally unknown why many of these people are going missing, many suspect that their disappearances, deaths, and even lack of coverage is rooted in anti-blackness.

The following is a list of black people that have been reported missing as of recently. Please note that this is not a complete list (it may never be completed due to the fact that many of these disappearances will still occur as time passes) this may contain inaccurate information. Please inform me if that is the case.

By the time you see this, some of these people may have already been found either alive or deceased. This post will be updated overtime.

After Ibuki and Mikan start dating Ibuki refers to Mikan as 'My Wife'. Flusters the hell out of her.

Fuyuhiko noticed Peko's like of flowers and so ended up learning a whole bunch of flower language meanings, the problem is he never has a chance to show off this information so he just drops it at random points when they are alone together.

Kyoko teaches Makoto the basics of hand to hand combat, because well she would rather be there it would comfort her a little if her squishy BF got a little less squishy.

When Chihiro is really comfortable around someone or they eat alone, they eat really fast and more than you would expect. The first time Mondo and Taka see this happen they are surprised, before start cheering them on and eating the same way.

Nagito is stupid good at being romantic when he wants to be. He does his best and by god it's better than he thinks it is. it is also something hard to predict because it is random. Hajime has been floored more than once by it and just "What is this for!?" "Your lucky day". (It leaves you flustered every time but man does it get him a lot of praise and kisses. Which he will take).

Natsumi learned a lot about mechanics from Kazuichi because she genuinely found it interesting as fuck, and also he was just so cute when he was going on about how everything worked.

Also would commission him a lot to make things. He made it... sometimes he asked why and got told 'Don't worry about it" so he decided not to.

Nekomaru was adored by all of Akane's siblings, he might have had to win them over but god damn was he well liked by the family. Even before they really were dating, dating and it honestly was one of the biggest thing that made Akane fall.

Nekomaru also started bringing Akane to sports trainings so she could meet the teams and she ended up getting really good at advising people and gave some really good plays advice because "my gut is telling me something- I think you should listen."

Also man their training sessions went so hard- they would spar from dusk till dawn under the stars and moonlight, laughing and having a good time interspersed between their serious show downs.

Sonia loves Gundham's house- Miss Tanaka adores her, the animals all get along with her and it just a relaxing place to be because no one judges her and no one expects her to be anything but herself. Also Miss Tanaka is very into true crime in my headcanon because she mayhaps killed Gundham's father shortly after he was born because he was a foul man, and raised Gundham by herself with all the animals on the farm. But ya I really think Miss. Tanaka and Sonia would get along great.

Sonia and Gundham both have to take trips a lot because Gundham has to go to animal reserves and rescues well Sonia has to travel for diplomatic purposes, so they video call a lot and Sonia hides her phone under her pillow and falls asleep listening to him update his blog.

Also Gundham is very good at stealth and has snuck into Sonia's dorm room to cuddle multiple times, because no foolish mortal rule will keep him from his dark queen. They are both such fucking cuddlers.

I don't think Sakura actually got out that much other than for fighting, but Hina goes all sorts of places and she starts getting Sakura to come along. She ends up having a lot more fun than she would have ever imagine. Like Hina takes her to Karoke and is cheering her on the entire time, it makes her feel great.

Also Hina is constantly on the hunt for cute clothes for her girlfriend so she can express more femininity when she wants too, because you know it has to be a nightmare to find clothes for Sakura she really likes unless they are made custom.
