idk maybe judging cards on how well they play Black Myth Wukong on Cinematic preset is a bit unfair. I honestly did not care about raytracing when I bought it, but I boot up control and I can turn Everything up to Ultra. I boot up ff7 rebirth and I can turn Everything up to Ultra. I boot up Subnautica 2, Baldurs Gate, Elden Ring... you get it

Serious question: Why do we need better than 1080p gaming in this day and age? I just wanted something that would let me play control resonant on a minipc with a dinky little igpu and in the quest to spend as little money as possible, i found a beast that handles my entire back catalog.

Idk, im already a staunch believer in Laptop graphics. I played Control originally on a laptop that was lucky if it kept a stable 60 on low settings. I only upgraded from that originally because the keyboard died and it has very little storage.

I've spent quite a bit in the quest to find a good replacement, more than most would have. I tried a smaller laptop that was deeply underwhelming, and got a really good deal on a 7 year old tower pc but I still needed something portable. But this set up in total cost me about $1200 spread out over a few months/years (depending on if you count the monitor/keyboard), and that laptop was $1700.
