“Hold on!” Immediately, you ran to the door to check who’s outside.
As you opened the door, you were stunned by the sight of your boyfriend, “Scara?!”
“We missed two cuddles.” Scaramouche pouts at you and crossed his arms. He was definitely sulking about how busy you were with your requirements.
Your little sister ran to you by the doorstep only to be welcomed by a taller figure than her. Staring at his purple eyes, chills ran down her spine, she was scared by the sudden sight of Scaramouche.
“W-who is he?! Big sis?!!!!” Your sister questions and panics. “Is he trying to take you away from me?!”
You patted her head as she hid behind your figure, “Airi, he’s not a bad guy. Don’t worry, okay?”
“Then who is he? Umm… Ummm… I forgot the word….” Airi’s eyes widen in shock, “Are you big sis’ boyfriend?!!!!!”
“Airi!!! Where have you been learning these words?!”
Scaramouche closes the door behind him and kneeled down to her height, reassuring her that he will take care of her.
“Hello, Airi. I’m Scaramouche, I’m your sister’s boyfriend, and I’ll take care of the two of you today.”

Your sister paused. Her figure froze in absolute regret when she said those words
She covers her face in embarrassment, and ran towards the living room, “OMG! I didn’t mean to steal your boyfriend! I’m sorry big sis! I’m sorryyyyyy!!!!”
You giggle as you witnessed Airi run to the living room and hide herself in on of the pillows. You didn’t really expect Scaramouche to come over, so you thought playing with your sister today was a good idea. But I guess today, he will be the one playing with her today.
“And you didn’t tell me you had a younger sibling?” Scara stands up from the position he was in.
Because your parents were away for the weekend, you were in charge to make everyday meals for yours and Airi’s. But since Scaramouche is here as well, you decided to cook for him today.
You were looking for contents in the fridge and some ingredients in your cobinet to check if you could make a certain dish.
You placed the ingredients on the counter and chopped onions, garlic, and tomatoes to saute later on. You heated up the pot as well while you chopped what you needed.
From the distance, you heard Airi run towards you and yelled, “Waaaah!! Waaaaaaahhhh!!! Big sis!!!!!”
“What’s wrong?” She hid behind you and gripped onto you.
“Sca… ra… he…. he yelled at me!” Pointing towards Scara, who’s also walking towards the two of you.
You quickly changed your gaze from her to Scaramouche, giving him a pouting, disappointed expression.
“Scara, apologize to her right now.”
Scaramouche wasn’t expecting that; he felt the seriouness in your tone. He slowly walked towards your sister and held her gently.
“…Airi, I’m sorry. Shhh… shh… now, now…”
Inside your mind, you were giggling, you never witnessed your boyfriend like this, he was always that mean type; how could he be so genuine? Especially to your sister? He’s such an angel, it’s like archons blessed you with someone so gentle, you’d cry at the moment if you could.
Patting you sister’s head, you reassured her, “Airi, Don’t be stubborn next time, okay?“
Your sister cried out sobs that soon turned into hiccups, “I’m… I’m sorry…”
“It’s fine, should we play again?” Scaramouche smiled at her back. He stood up and accompanied her back to the living room.
You were still giggling from what you just witnessed. Scaramouche heard your giggles and turned his gaze to you, giving you a death glare. You could only smile at him at the moment.
After you finished making your meals, you went to the living room to check on the two, who’s been playing for the past hour. Surely they’re both tired already, running around the living room and playing games together, it’s time for a meal.
But when you were about to call them, you were welcomed by the sight of your boyfriend caressing your sister’s hair as she was in her deep sleep.
“How long has she been asleep?” You poked Scaramouche from behind.
“Oh, well, since like 5 minutes ago. I told her if she wanted to play another game but, she fell asleep already.”
You chuckled, “I’ll wake her up a little later, I just finished making dinner, let’s eat.”
“Your cooking needs to be a… little more seasoned.” Scaramouche mutters as he savors more of the meal you cooked.
“Is this an insult? Or a compliment?”
“…How stupid, Scara. But hey, that’s something I expected from you.” You smiled back at him.
“Tsk… Fine, It’s delicious. Happy?”
“Hm, maybe? But hey, you and Airi seem to get along well.” You stood up from your seat to go get water for the two of you.
“Don’t lie now. I saw how you apologized to her earlier when you yelled at her!”

“I didn’t know you had a side like this~” You teased him, while offering him a glass of water.
“But what was the reason you yelled at her anyway?”
“I was gonna offer to cook instead, but she kept on insisting, telling me to play with her. I didn’t even yell at her, I just told her to leave me alone. (Sigh) I should’ve handled it better.”
“Oh, you felt bad?” You chuckled, “And you wanted to cook?”
From the distance, you heard footsteps from the living room up to the dining room. It was Airi, who rubbed her eyes after waking up from her sleep.
“Big sis…? I fell asleep…”
“Oh, how was your sleep? I prepared dinner, go ahead and eat and drink your vitamins after.”
“Okayyyy… But, is he going to leave already….??”
You checked the time, “Ah, oh no, it’s already 9pm!”
“Nooo… Don’t leave… :(“ Airi pouts while facing Scaramouche.
Scaramouche kneels down to her height, patting her head,
“…I’ll come back, I promise, Okay?”
Your sister pulls out her pinky finger, “Promise me?!”
He was hesitant at first, but still did it anyway. “I promise…”
“Scara,” You stood behind him as he was about to leave.
“Thank you… for coming over, for taking care of my sister, I appreciate it, and…”
“I’m really sorry, I’ve been super busy, and I wasn’t able to spend time with you more often. I swear I’ll make it up to you…”
Scaramouche blushes, averting his gaze away from you, “I-It’s fine, stupid. I’ve just been…”

Not even bothering to let him finish his words, you pulled him close to you, kissing him on the lips. Scaramouche was startled by the sudden action, but he didn’t pull away anyway.
