Your eyes were fixed on his mouth. A flash of silver had caught your attention when he'd spoken. For a moment, you thought you imagined it. Then he clicked his tongue and there it was again.

Your jaw dropped "...You have a tongue piercing?"

A smirk slowly spread across his face "Took you long enough to notice”

The realization hit you all at once. Your boyfriend already had multiple piercings. The silver rings lining his ears, the eyebrow piercing that somehow made his permanent glare even more attractive—it all suited him.

But this? This was dangerous because for some reason, the tongue piercing looked absurdly good on him. Heat immediately crawled up your neck.

Scaramouche's eyes narrowed then his smirk widened. "You think it's hot hmm” The smug satisfaction radiating from him was insufferable.

You looked away, very very big mistake. His soft laugh made your heart stutter "You are unbelievably obvious”

"I'm literally not” your face burned.

Scaramouche leaned back in his chair, one eyebrow lifting. The silver barbell briefly became visible when he spoke again. Unfortunately, your eyes followed it immediately. The smirk on his face became absolutely unbearable.

The amusement dancing in his indigo eyes only made him look even prettier which was deeply unfair. Scara rested his chin against his hand, studying your increasingly flustered expression.
