After POF Roman is at his lowest point since the split. And after he accidentally gets everyone trapped inside the imagination he has to work together with Remus to figure out a way to fix what he broke. Can he resist the tempations that lay in wait for him? What happens if he does?

[ci]Summary; Roman has a lot on his mind with the planning of his wedding, so when his friend tells he needs to go on an errand for him, the prince is far more confused than excited. Especially with all the strange instructions the oracle is giving him.

Roman woke up with a start as he felt a sudden weight on his body. He groaned, trying to wiggle out from under what was on top of him.
“Wakey wakey, prince lazy.” A voice said, laying on the sleepy prince. “Time to get up. Got a mission for you.”
“Remy? Get off of me!” The confused prince scowled, trying to push his friend off of him. “What are you doing in my room!?”
“Your dad gave me permission to send you on a mission. So you need to get up and start getting ready.”
“Okay, firstly, can’t get up if you’re on me-” Roman said, pushing the oracle harder. “Secondly, what the heck are you talking about? What mission?”
Remy rolled his eyes, letting the prince push him onto the floor. He turned and rested his chin on the royal’s bed. “I need you to go to a nearby kingdom and get me something.”
Roman sat up, frowning at the other. “What? Go send a servant. Don’t we have people to do that?”
“Maybe.” The brown haired prophet shrugged. “Not important, babes. I need you to do it.”
“No. I have a wedding to plan.” Roman told him, laying back down and rolling over so he wasn’t facing Remy any more.
“Right. Looks like you’re so busy planning right now.” The oracle stood up, pulling on the prince’s blanket. “Your father is sending you. Get up!”
“Hey!!” Roman sat up again glaring. “I’m a prince! Not an errand boy!”
“I don’t care. I need you to do it.” Remy told him in a rhythmic voice which made Roman’s glare harsher. “Got an issue with it? Go argue with your father.”
“You know what! I will!” Roman stood up.
Bad idea.
Long story short, arguing with his father did not go well.
Roman had gone to talk about Remy’s demands only to get chewed out about the dangers of not listening to an oracle. Though the prince couldn’t see how having the only heir to the kingdom stop his wedding preparations to go to what must be one of the most shady sea towns ever just to pick up something was a good idea.
It just sounded like a really bad idea honestly.
“Sooo…” Remy said, as Roman walked out of the meeting with his father. “...what did he say?”
“I swear he listens to you more than his own son.” The prince muttered.
“Wow, it's almost like I have the gift of prophecy or something.”
“Ugh, fine. You win.” The prince said with an eye roll. “But will you at least tell me why I have to go do it?”
“Nope.” Remy smiled. “But I’ll tell ya what you need for your trip.”
Roman groaned, and started walking. The oracle followed him.
“You’ll need to bring some of your nicest jewelry, your jeweled crown, some peasant clothing to blend in with the crowd-”
“Why do I need my jewelry and crown if I have to blend in? Isn’t that counter productive?”
“One, you’re not wearing them. Two, don’t ask.” Remy told him. “Anyway, Patton and Logan will be going with you.”
“Whoa, what?” The prince paused to turn and look at the other. “Why is Logan coming?”
“Because I said so.” The brunette said. “...He also asked to come.”
“You told him before you told me?” Roman frowned. “Why?”
Remy shrugged. “Cause I felt like it. Not important.” He waved his hand dismissively. “Logan and Patton are already packed. You just need to get your jewelry and meet them outside.”
The heir looked at him for a moment. “Why was I the last to know?”
“Because, babes.”
“Not an answer.” Roman told him.
“It's what I got. Hurry up. You need to meet up with some people.”
“Who?”
“Patton and Logan obviously. And others...Tell ya later.” Remy shrugged again. “Here’s a letter you need to give my friend when I find them.”
Roman took the paper with a scowl. “Remy, you’re a dear friend of mine. But you are so freaking confusing and I hate you.”
“No you don’t.” Remy had a smirk. “Go get ready. You’re keeping your friends waiting.”
“I’m on it. I’m on it.” The prince mumbled, turning away from his friend and moving down the hall.
“Oh, and Roman.”
The heir paused looking back at Remy. “Hmm?”
“When you get to the city…” The oracle told him. “...Don’t go into the alley behind the tavern.”

Summary; After being cut off from the world for months with no word about being saved, a prince worries about whether or not he can get his right hand man and his men back home safely.

The prince sighed, leaning over his desk slumped over. His finger tapped wood beneath him excessively as he stared at the letter he was trying to write. His sunken eyes staring at the ink on the page as if the tired green orbs could will a reply into existence.
The door opened to the office and the auburn haired man sighed heavily as he heard the creaking door shut followed by footsteps moving closer. He dropped his quill and pressed his palms to his forehead, trying to fight off the headache.
“Well someone seems to be enjoying himself.” A voice spoke up. “If you worry anymore, you’ll start getting grey hairs.”
“I think that’s the least of my worries, love.” The heir told him, not moving from his position.
“Fair enough. Have you eaten today?”
“Do we have food?”
There was a long pause from the other and the prince let out a deep breath, looking up at the scaled man.
“...how are the men?” He asked.
“They’re getting restless.” The right hand man told him. “You should probably go and talk to them. Try to settle their nerves.”
The prince nodded slightly, rubbing his face as he shifted to sit up straight, messing up the already untidied hairs of his unkempt mustache, something he had meant to shave off.
“Right...cause words are going to save them.” The man muttered, turning in his chair. “How is everything else?”
The black haired man paused. “We’re almost completely out of our rations...people are thinking the supplies are being stolen and some of the men have taken to blaming each other-”
“Infighting. Perfect. Just what we need.” The prince said with a hollow laugh, deflating.
“Love, they’re-”
“What about the pirates?”
There was a pause between the two.
After a moment there was a soft sigh. “They’re moving closer. We’re still cut off on all sides. No word from your father or any reinforcements…”
The prince held onto his forehead. “...We’re screwed.”
The scale covered man frowned. “Hey now. That’s not true.”
“Is it not? Please, tell me how I’m wrong.”
“Well..we-”
“Have no food. Are surrounded by the enemy and have no sign of any reinforcements.” The prince told him. “We’ve been here for months! Nobody is coming to save us. We can’t do anything or fight back. We are screwed...it's hopeless.”
“Love, listen to me.” The man moved to gently grab the other’s elbow with one hand while the other hand tilted the prince’s chin to look at him. “Things are going to be okay. We’ll think of something.”
“But the pirates-”
“Are at bay for now.”
“The food-”
“We’ll make grass strew or eat the horses.”
“Reinforcements?”
“Are probably on their way.” The black haired man told him, soft iron colored eyes looking into his prince’s eyes. “Your father wouldn’t abandon the men here. Least of all you.”
The prince sighed, pausing for a moment. “...And the men?”
“Need you to be strong,” he answered. “They think of you as their hero. They need you to try to act like it.”
There was a pause before the heir looked at the black scales on the other’s face before a soft smile crept onto the prince’s face. “You should just be the prince. You’re so much better at it.”
“Hmmm, true.” He nodded with a playful smile. “You are terrible at anything that doesn’t involve a sword.”
“What would I do without you?”
“Starve most likely.”
The heir laughed. “Well, I’ll just have to stay with you, won’t I?”
“Oh, how dreadful. I can’t stand your company” The man smiled at his prince, earning an eye roll in response.
“You know most people would be tried and probably executed for talking to the heir of the kingdom like that.” The prince smirked.
“I’m not most people.”
“Overgrown lizard.”
“Prince Tryhard.”
“Now that one just hurt.” The prince pouted, leaning toward the other.
“Aw, does the mighty mighty prince need me to kiss his boo boo better?” The dragon teased, starting to lean to meet the prince in the space between them.
Before the heir could answer, there was a loud roar of a cannon, and the wall burst open, throwing the two men onto the floor.
The prince’s head throbbed and his vision blurred. He heard several screams and the voice of his right hand man yelling orders as everything started to fade to black.

If your school has blocked this I recommend using ‘InteractiveFics’. Its originally used for changing Y/N to your own name but it has a separate option where you can change any word/name to what you want.
It has a less likely chance of being blocked so I thought I’d mention it.
If you dare come at me about banning straws, I will throw you into the sun cannon. I’m disabled, I’m crippled, I need disposable plastic straws, and all those pricey ridiculous alternatives aren’t working as well. Plastic straws were invented for the disabled.
Way to shit all over a vital access need because you think straws are worse than corporate greed.
We all care about the turtles, the seals, the oceans, obviously. Notice how the easiest thing to yell about was something that would barely affect anything but appealed heavily to emotional discourse.
The disabled community is huge, and it can be joined by anyone. Most of those As Seen On TV products were invented for us. Society still mocks us and ignores us, and often outright harms us in multiple ways.
Communicate better. Listen better. But stop putting us out in the cold because you are inconvenienced by our simplest needs.
Straws aren’t killing the planet, its animals, or people. They’re a microscopic fraction of an iota of a percentage of the problem. You want to do something? Ban plastic fishing nets. Anything else is just a hollow feel-good gesture at the expense of real living disabled people.
i have an environmental degree and i’ve been saying this since this straw ‘debate’ started: its all a tactic by those in power to distract people’s attention from bigger issues such as fishing waste. don’t fall for it. and don’t be a dick to disabled people who need straws to make their lives easier.
Its also really fucking irritating that a lot of people genuinely do think environmentalists panicked over straws and are therefore hysterical in general. This did nothing but more damage to public perception.
