Again, I wanna point out how precious Caduceus's friendship is.

This was not his problem. He didn't have anything to do with Uk'otoa. He didn't swallow the cloven crystal. He didn't unlock any of the seals. He wasn't corrupted and ensnared by the evil Eldritch influence.

But when he cast the spell to remove the cloven crystal/orb from Fjord's body.. he carried that pain of it too. As it was happening, and everyone was worried about Fjord, and holding onto him, and even Jester shouting worried to Caduceus 'You're hurting him!', Caduceus knew full-well what pain Fjord was going through, because he was feeling it too, and pushing through, for Fjord's sake.

And when it was over, and everyone held Fjord's hand and comforted him, and made sure he was ok.. Nobody asked if Caduceus was ok.

He didn't even expect them to. And I don't think they realized he was suffering the pain too. He knew everyone was worried about Fjord, and they had good reason to be. Caduceus was worried too.
