"There You Are..."

What was once a man is on the hunt for a person he called his friend.

I really loved the idea that Toomp came from the demonic goop, so I think it would have been really interesting to at least tie up that plot thread with a somewhat messy bow.

It’s a little scattered as I haven’t quite gotten the idea down in full, but the idea would have consisted of Toomp, having managed to escape the pit where Peach resides, invoking chaos throughout the Mushroom Kingdom and people to causing disappear, die, or be eaten by him. It leads to his capture and eventual imprisonment, and it’s discovered by the kingdom’s government that Toomp is incredibly dangerous, though thankfully weakened, leaving him to be transferred to a maximum security prison.

Earthquakes and massive cracks would begin happening in which more and more people go missing, and it’s discovered that it’s Peach, still trapped in the pit, attempting to escape her eternal prison and destroy the SMG4 world from the inside out for all the wrong that’d been done to her. She’d end up trying to call out to remnants of the Goop that still exist (within the abandoned Puzzle Park, the Keyboard, and of course, Toomp.)

Toomp would essentially try and return to his “motherbase” after some foreshadowing in efforts to contact him (through Peach, of course) and attempt to assimilate and become a part of her once again. The idea would have involved Puzzles, WPNZ, and the SMG4 crew having to defeat Peach (as well as rescue Toomp to stop them from destroying the kingdom.

SMG3 and SMG4 would use the USBs to defeat her after a lengthy fight, she reverts back to her regular self and SMG4 apologizes to her before she turns into peach blossoms and is scattered away into the sky.

Puzzles, WPNZ, and Toomp alongside the SMG4 crew would work together to build a golden statue where the castle used to be and a beautiful garden to commemorate her. (Or maybe a peach tree if we want to be a little less subtle, haha!)

The conclusion to Toomp would probably be he’d get to exist separately from what he was made from, though he’s the same little chaotic slime gremlin we all know and love.
