Sorry I don’t know if I worded that last ask well, I meant what other bird trait hcs do you give Regect? And are there any specific bird breed you took inspiration from?

i drew from a lot of species for regect!! i'll start with his main inspiration, microraptors! technically not a bird but i still refer to my regect as avian or a bird because.... well, feathers everywhere... and since microraptors are extinct i drew from living bird species for behavioral traits anyway (more on that in a sec)
i also take ideas from classic velociraptor interpretations for how he moves and holds himself since regect is a little too big and a little too... toeless ig??? to spend time in trees like a microraptor would... will put the rest under the cut because i'm YAPPING and adding bird videos because i can't resist i love birds dude

hi hi hi and thank you very much!!! i was gonna say no but i realised it takes 5 minutes to upload the stuff i've posted, and it'll give everyone the option to view things in better quality so i have one now :) for xor, tbh i don't know much of him outside of what we learned in the collab episode (ik he has his own lore but i haven't seen much of it)... still, he seemed interesting and a lot of his bits made me laugh! the dialogue about his ocs felt surprisingly accurate to a kid explaining their characters, i'm pretty sure i've talked about my warrior cat ocs similarly in middle school, so i found that endearing... and wow you say he killed a guy? no no your honor he's innocent actually

idk how to explain myself but the dynamic I get from your interpretations of ze and eyes makes me think of rule #47 by fish in a birdcage. like that song is soooo your daemon to your ze to me and I wish I was good at words to say why but it's just that vibe

art fight revenge for @somberine featuring its regect and prime designs!! ^-^ two lovely buges..... big fan of their jealous prime simulacrum and regect content and thought it worked well with this recent animation trend so i gave it a go! it was great practice bc i'm super rusty with anything editing-related... started brainstorming it and i think i've got something i'm fairly happy with for regect?? KEEP IN MIND this is for a like a fully human au... but i've got a doodle merging it with canon in a second ;P
his monster design is so weird it's hard to translate it without feeling over-designed but i think this look covers most of what i wanted to carry over? i've got a lot of notes on it that i'll stick at the end of this post... it feels illegal to have regect look this cool though but TRUST cool-looking people can still be weird. such is the case here

hi!! thank you so much for asking first, that's really thoughtful of you... unfortunately i might have to say no to this one, sorry... :( i'm more than fine with my art being used for things like pfps or layouts, but with rant accounts i'm aware the sprites are a big part of the platform opinions go out on, and i know things can get heated. if i can't know what kinds of discussions my art is going to be the "face" of i don't think i'm comfortable with it being used.
i'm sure you're lovely and i want to have good faith, but my discomfort also extends to how other people might respond in your comment sections, cause if anything hurtful happens, even if i'm just in the periphery, i'd still feel pretty bad.
so yeah, just want to be safe, but i wish you luck in finding a suitable sprite for your account!! i imagine it can be hard when the official media is just minecraft skins... and feel free to use my art elsewhere just maybe not for a rant account! thanks for checking in!!

updated regect reference images!! i was considering putting him, moe, and ze on art fight but i'm still debating on that for personal reasons
