Every pony is born with a sense of yearning; yearning for is there cutie mark; yearning for a warm meal; yearning to be the fastest the strongest, the smartest, the funniest, the kindest; yearning is within their nature.

But what if someone was able to fulfill that yearning? Make them feel as if they've achieved their goals, their desires, what they've yarned for their entire lives. In their minds, they are living their dream happy, prosperous, with without worry. Making it so pony's no longer fill the need to me to punish and belittle others, everyone would be equal, and everyone would be joyful.

And if there was such a world without yearning, and others wished to bring people back to that age of yearning wouldn't you want to fight back?
