They got into a lot of trouble, but it was the most fun Kuzon had ever had and Aang, the little airbending boy, was nicer than most of the firenation kids Kuzon knew. He thought Kuzon was pretty cool, even if he was a farmer, or he spent a little too much time talking about dragons. Kuzon also thought Aang was pretty cool, even if he sneezed and launched into the air, or he refused to eat some of Kuzon's favorite foods.

Day 5: Forbidden/Love (as two separate prompts) @zukaangweek

Summery:

Zuko is working in the kitchen to make pastries. Aang is being, well, Aang, thus, shenanigans.

This wasn't what the prompts were intended to but comedy is my default setting so, whoops

Tags: humor, fluff, established relationship, aang is a little shit, but zuko loves him so its okay

Favorite Lines:

Attempt number 7 consisted of just walking into the kitchen with purpose in the hopes that, if he moved quickly enough, he'd get to the bowl before Zuko noticed.

That attempt was thwarted three steps in by a very emphatic “No.”

Summary:

Zuko asks Aang to marry him. Aang thought they were already married. Confusion all around.

Favorite Lines:

“Well,” Zuko started, abandoning the speech he'd written and rehearsed, “then I hope that still stands if I ask you this.” Taking a deep steadying breath, Zuko finally bit the bullet. “Will you marry me?”

Rather than literally any of the reactions Zuko had imagined he might have, from joyful tears to disgust, Aang just stared at him blankly. His eyes cast to the side like he was trying to puzzle something out, looking more confused by the second, before he let out a small confused laugh. “Are-, are we not already married?”
