Red Sniper 100% believing the other team is composed fully of aliens right? Because how else would Mann co find people who look so similar?!

So, Sniper is naturally on edge around the Blu team, even going as far as picking spots to nest during battles to limit direct contact so he can figure out if they mean well or not (Ya’know, parasitic or just… on brand grey Martians). Well, naturally, Blu Spy (who is not an alien, mind you) picks up on the Red Sniper’s strange habits that seemingly sprung out of nowhere. Because sure, just like himself, Red Sniper prefers to be alone, work alone, but totally isolating himself is new.

So, Blu Spy, being the nosy man he is, decides to investigate etc etc, and eventually gets Red Sniper to trust him enough to chat occasionally between backstabs and decapitations. At the same time, Red Sniper learns Blu Spy is curious and becomes curious himself bc, Aliens. Anyone who believes in aliens to a certain extent wants to learn more, right? And hey; Maybe they’re not as scary as he thought? (Except Blu Sniper… who’s freaky as all hell)

Many events occur between Red Sniper and Blu Spy as they get to know another, one thinking the other is an alien and slowly realising he doesn’t really mind, while the other finds Sniper’s interests and personality more and more… ‘intoxicating’ (Fancy word Blu Spy would write in his man diary)

So, Red Sniper and Blu Spy become pals, then more than that over time. And one warm desert evening they're chilling in Red Sniper's camper van after the sims 4 Woohoo (bc enemies to friends to alien… lovers??2?) and Sniper just casually says between he and Spy’s shared cigarette:

"Yer pretty good for an alien, mate." With the full conviction of a man who’s impressed by a ‘new experience’ (aka sims 4 Woohoo with an “alien”) And Blu Spy makes a face- the one where your nose scrunches up like you smelled something really bad- and slowly turns his head to the side to stare at Sniper (who is oblivious and just thinking about how maybe aliens aren't to be feared [or make not. Blu Sniper is freaky period]).

"Like... as a man from France?" Spy says, just really really confused, though slightly bemused, maybe his wild bushman is making a joke, and he takes the cigarette back. Sniper chuckles in that way people chuckle when they misunderstand and think your joking and reaches for the cigarette after Spy finishes his drawl with a;

“Haha, ‘France’, good one mate”
