People on twitter have been saying this website is extremely white and tbh its making me very curious what the demographics of this site are (of my own reach anyway) so
What is your race (predominantly)

DISCLAIMER: Race is a non scientific concept with no exact definitions. It is a social construct primarily characterized by how society treats you and thus this is an imperfect poll. If you feel none of the options here reflect you and your experience I implore you to reblog this with your experience as I am curious about that and want to hear about it.
Uh.... Please reblog this and cast as wide a net as possible

HANG IN THERE BABY!! instagram | bluesky | patreon
‼️prints here
i'm working again and it's fun. i'm doing a really tiny thing, but it's spmething at least!!
btw you will miss this in 5 or 10 years. memory will smooth these circumstances down like a river stone, and you will find yourself longing for a shade of light or a moment of this particular innocence. you don't know about what happens next, and one day that will be the most alluring thing of all. don't leave it all for nostalgia. have a nice night now, whatever night it happens to be.
went to a party for the opening of my boss' exhibition, and it was in this amazing apartment. there was basically no furniture and i was told it was because nobody lived there, and they had been using it as a party house. rich people lol
anyway, the party was nice: there was a hundred 70/80 year olds and then five of us who were 30, and some other older-but-still-younger people. and after the party us younger ppl stayed for a little while longer, after even the houseowner had left. like 30 minutes, chilling on the couch, making minimal noise. we talked and laughed about the absurdity of being left in this big house by ourselves. i dunno, maybe it was because i had drunk a half-glass of champagne, but i didn't really see anything bad in that?? hahah like writing it down it actually seems a bit weird, but the owner said "bye, i'm going to bed! you don't have to leave now" so??? like, do rich people say things and mean something else?
when i joked about it yesterday at lunch, my boss laughed about it and said that we should've left, but he also seemed normal about it. but now my colleague, who was there that night, reiterated the fact and said our boss really meant we should have left as soon as the owner left. and this prompts another thought for me: he stayed a while after she left.. so..? what?
anyway, as i see it, it was no big deal. we stayed for like 30 minutes, we didn't put music on, as soon as the waiters finished tidying up, ww got up and left and politely said goodbye. it just makes me laugh that it would be a big deal lol. the owner told everyone to stay???
i'm a hypochondriac. having to live everyday with the constant fear of getting covid is exhausting for me. i wish we'd never had covid and i wish we were still all masking. but i'm not sure if my fear of covid is my hypochondria or if it has any basis. every time someone gets ill in my family i get worried, not for them, but for myself, and i don't like that. i hate losing my compassion about this, but i'm so afraid. i feel stupid wearing a mask and i look crazy to my family when i tell them to wear one when they go to crowded places. i feel like shit today. my sister has a flu and she's been feeling sick since yesterday. i'm also sick, less so, but still i'm angry that i'm sick. not with her, because it's not her fault: we have 1 bedroom. i think 2025 is the year i start going to a psychologist to try and help myself. i'm afraid this anxiety will block me from making friends and having a job in a crowded office. it's ruining my life.

kamala harris is electable. more so than joe biden. yes this country is racist and sexist. and kamala harris IS still very fucking electable. "she's a cop" yeah! everyone who serves as president of the united states fucking sucks lmao. but yk what?? she can beat trump. she doesnt wholly embrace fascist policy. she generally aligns with a lot of important issues-- abortion, the green new deal, lgbtq+ rights, fact-based public education-- and that buys us time to organize our communities, to improve safeguards and community care and uproot the fascism taking hold without a fully fascist president breathing down our necks. "the democrats suck too" yup they really do!! and yet i still prefer that to the gop's wholehearted embrace of true fascism, of overturning free and fair elections and shifting power to unelected federal judges. so!! enough of the hand wringing please!! we need to buy some fucking time so yes kamala harris will need to win and yes she is very capable of winning there is strategy there, there is money there, and the american people above all rn want someone who isnt decaying into the literal ground thank you that is all.
