i know that the way canon ben drowned looks is because of how popular scene, emo, and stoner/grunge culture kinda was at the time where his creepypasta was, as well as overall anime influence

i was there

but as a loz fan i do think it’s criminal that he doesn’t take on more of the look of link specifically from the n64 ocarina of time & majoras mask games

that sharp uncanny feel is what leads to the creepy vibes in both, especially mm & the elegy, but also just overall like, it’s such an iconic and unique look for link as over time he’s gradually become softer, so giving a character that, in fanon, is traditionally this snarky apathetic, wants you to kill yourself entity some of his edge back is so fun

i’ve seen people back then and even now try to make him look more like link, but in both cases i see him looking more like he’s from twilight princess of skyward sword (adding in chain mail, or giving him the softer features, fluffy hair, etc)

and i dunno i thought it would be fun to use the n64 link as inspo
