What I really like about this post is that it really does look like voices screaming at each other. Grieving, comforting, raging. It's what grief feels like.

I think part of the reason why we hold on to something so tightly is because we fear something as great won’t happen twice. So we clutch at echoes, press fingerprints into vanishing light, trap the past in the hollow of our ribs and call it memory. We convince ourselves that lightning does not strike the same heart twice, that the universe grants only one great blaze before leaving us to wander in embers. But perhaps love is not a rare star, burning once and fading into oblivion. Perhaps it is a constellation, vast and unfolding, appearing in different skies, in different seasons, if only we dare to lift our eyes. And yet, my hands still tremble with the habit of holding.

Not wrong to go crazy when that happens. It's rare enough.
