But can we talk about the psychological effects of testosterone though? The physical effects are always what people talk about, but that shit fucks with your brain, too.

Don't start it without a therapist to talk to and a doctor who knows what they're talking about. Seriously. The anger, the inability or difficulty accessing your emotions, the irritability, the sex drive spike. Yeah you'll look like your dad, but in a lot of ways you'll act like your dad, too, for better or worse, unless you have a system in place to help you with that.

Some things are meant to be thought through.

The other part of what you said isn't just incorrect, it's also pretty baffling. Why do you think these things are caused by testosterone? It does have some correlation with libido, although it evens out pretty fast, but the other stuff? Testosterone by itself doesn't make anyone angry, irritable, or incapable of connecting with their emotions. Everyone, largely people who are not on T, keeps saying that it does these things, but research findings are inconsistent, and real life stories from people on T are full of examples of the opposite.

I started T on my own, years ago, and none of what you're saying happened.

What you said just reads like "you're gonna become a shitty person unless you submit to someone's guidance".

You can hear the strain on her voice. The notes aren't clear. They aren't strong. They squeak and whine. They're blocked in her own throat.

You can hear the difference within the song itself, she's much more comfortable in her lower register.

It's all lower register. It's beautiful and strong and powerful because she's accepted herself completely, including her own limitations.
