this is gonna be absolutely historical. he may not be the first to reach them on foot, but his journey has been long and special. he has been going for 14 years. he has been going for longer than some current minecraft players have been alive.

its not impossible to reach the farlands and never has been. kurtjmac was the first to set foot towards them, but he is certainly not the first to reach them (that honour goes to KilloCrazyMan) — there's plenty of people that have reached the farlands within even just the last 5 years (there's a list of known players that have gone & are going here! there's a lot of people!). i do not think the point was ever that it was impossible because it has always been possible.
