Also I adore lestat’s little “yes. Bring me your malice,” when Claudia finally turns to him during the seance. Like yes, that is my vicious masochist babygirl!!!

the one thing really not sitting right with the me about the seance situation is, unless i totally missed it, claudia says nothing to louis about the regina situation and she says nothing to lestat about the gabriella situation. which, if she's truly haunting her dads, seem like things claudia would know. and i trust that #myclaudia would never let her dads live either of those things down

asking myself if armand does all of this because he hates lestat or because he loves lestat. and i think the answer is just yes

look i gotta hand it to Lestat, because every time he's going through it, he eventually looks outward and finds his tribe i mean coven i guess but you get what i'm saying. Like, he started the theater company in paris, he joined the band in montreal, he joined the Mayfair Witches' book club in New Orleans. Look, spirit Claudia from the seance who hates Louis' guts is real and valid and true. But so is the Claudia who Louis and Armand and Lestat all watched reaching for Louis and crying and screaming his name as he was taken away at the trial when she saw him for the last time

i feel about 'montreal' the same way i feel about the cottage episode of heated rivalry. except for, you know. the end.

Any time I feel bad for Lestat because Louis isn’t being very kind or understanding or just lets his selfish self shine, I stop myself. Because Lestat knew this. He always knew this about Louis, he made Louis, he courted him for months and used to be able to read his mind. Lestat knows exactly who Louis is and has loved him the whole time anyway.
