Im just rambling abt my random thoughts, but i like to think Elrond used to have like REALLY bad skin acne when he was a teen😭. It just sounds so silly, but like i imagine he’s got the "always-perfect-elvish-hair™" but since he’s half human, he couldn’t avoid going through the human ritual of having really bad skin at some point.

Idk i just kinda like to give him more "human" traits, it kinda changes from the other elves who always look like supermodels 😭

My favourite possible interpretation of Gil-Galad's relationship with Elrond, is that the latter is simultaneously his minstrel, herald, closest advisor, personal attendant, best friend, unwilling heir and closest remaining family member, and it's not always possible to determine in which capacity Elrond is acting at any given moment.

They're ridiculously codependent (if more so on Gil-Galad's side, it's just because Elrond has already forcibly had to learn how to cope with the absence of his closest kinsman)
