i started FFXIV: ARR when some friends mentioned wanting to try the beta on the PS3 (where I didn’t know how to take screenshots so used my phone LOL) and asked if I wanted to play. I mainly just wanted to play a game with them so I agreed and made a character. Zia wasn’t the first one created, but she is the one that I kept past the beta and she became my main character. 

Since then I’ve had so many fun adventures and memories both with friends and people I’ve met in the game, and being a way for staying connected with all my friends who live around the world (important to me since I’m from Hawai’i) and even make new ones! This game has been a very big part of my life and very important to me, no matter what people have to say or critique about the game, it will always have a special place in my heart.

I can’t believe it’s been 5 years already,
