Dinosaur Valley State Park in Texas is one of the few places where you can walk the same path as the prehistoric animals did millions of years before you. The tracks there, thought to belong to Acrocanthosaurus and Sauroposeidon, have survived the test of time for 113 million years. Anyone is able to visit this trail, and walk alongside the ancient footprints, forever cast in the now dried mud. However, the park and its surrounding wildlife may be threatened by a large AI data center planned to be built near the park. The byproducts of AI facilities poisons the air, uses up the water, drives up electricity, and negatively impacts the animals, plants, and people living nearby. The area is even home to the endangered Golden-cheeked warbler. Even more unfortunately, the request to postpone the operation has been denied by Texas courthouses.
