The way that we don’t use the phrase “girl games” anymore when really it just shifted to “cozy games” which I think is really damning because the word cozy being there already sets you up for that feeling and predetermines what games devs will make and I truly do not care about farming games and the way the triple A side of the game industry loves to peddle itself as inclusive when the “androgyny” of the games whether it be subject matter or aesthetic or whatever still leans masculine and continues to have an air of not taking feminine things seriously with refusal to explore anything with those elements out of fear of gamers not wanting that kinda stuff which demonstrates men being unable to engage with “women targeted things” genuinely or at all so what I’m saying is that even tho I didn’t play Infinity Nikki I want more games in that vain with the same level of serious story telling as other triple and double A games. I want action games with girly aesthetics. Bring em back I’m tired of male centered things it’s so boring
