you know, i’m actually surprised there hasn’t been a mascot horror franchise about yuru charas yet. especially since the world seems to be in its weeb era right now.. so i took it upon myself to make the concept for one

meet lucky-chan!!!! he’s the mascot of a now-defunct drinks company known as luckydrink (think coca cola or pepsi) he is very obedient to his brand. actually, maybe TOO obedient. because he was once given the task of “getting rid of intruders” in the luckydrink factory, but he interpreted “get rid of” as “kill”, and… yeah

one day during a factory tour, lucky-chan gets confused by all the new people, & strangers & such being in the factory. and didn’t understand it was a tour. and thought they were all intruders. so he went and attacked them all, and that’s why luckydrink became defunct

he still wanders around inside the building, even though it is now abandoned & long forgotten. & waiting for his next victim…

WRONG!!!

the company daiki resided in treated him very poorly

when he refused to do even simple things, such as give someone his autograph,

he was faced with terrible abuse

when he met lucky-chan, he vented his frustration

daiki told lucky-chan that he feels like what’s happening to him is wrong, but thinks still that his company knows best for him

lucky-chan deliberately took advantage of this by asking him to help out with hiding evidence of what lucky-chan had done to intruders

telling daiki that it would help him with his frustration

telling him to imagine them as his creators

they somehow bonded even more over this

daiki’s whole life had been nothing but constant worry & fear, but lucky-chan was one of his only escapes

so imagine the look on his face when he deliberately entered lucky-chan’s factory one day, thinking he’d be allowed, only to get killed by his own best friend

lucky-chan wasn’t exactly happy about having to do this, but he had been ordered to “get rid of all intruders” (or so he thought), and that’s where he puts his priorities first

he had a mental breakdown about it after!! he sits in the corner of his factory, thinking about daiki nonstop

usually, lucky-chan uses his victi-i mean intruders as luckydrink ingredients, but he couldn’t bring himself to do that to daiki

so he gave him a regular burial instead

lucky-chan had never felt a connection as deep as he did with daiki. even compared to the mascots he LIVED with, he still loved daiki more

he sometimes even wished that he went against his own programming & spared daiki, instead safely guiding him out of the factory. but he still didn’t do it. because to lucky-chan, obedience is everything

hey guys remember how i said i wanted to make a lucky-chan film? yeah like an entire film? i was planning characters and voice actors and stuff

sorry to say but it’s officially cancelled

the reason is due to lack of support from others

i’m not sure what the point is of making a film if nobody is going to watch it

Lucky-Chan: The main one of all four. He was very kindhearted, but also clumsy sometimes. But that was only when he wasn’t going after intruders. He shows no mercy to those who tried entering the factory…

After the Annihilation happened (The incident that led to the factory being abandoned), and after his friends left him, the kind persona wore off and was replaced with a more aggressive & insane one.

Despite that, he still kept “following orders”.

He’s the most obedient out of the four mascots. Won’t hesitate to do anything LuckyDrink Co. says, even if it hurts those around him or if he disagrees with it

Ichigo-Chan: Bubbly & carefree. Used to see the world in a happy & childlike way. But seeing a dead body has messed her mind up big time. And when no one believed her, she gained massive trust issues.

No one helped her. And when they tried, the damage had already been done

Choco-Kun: They were really confident & acted like they were the best at everything. But they still cared for their friends. Nothing had changed much about them, but they still wish to go back to when their friendship with the other mascots was still stable

Kiiro-Chan: Really energetic & liked causing ruckuses. She’d occasionally pull pranks on the other mascots. Harmless ones. Nothing changed again, and she still remains in contact with Choco-Kun. She’s tried forgetting about the terrible things that happened throughout her & the other mascots’ friendship.

It won’t leave…

so i just checked the lucky-chan timeline and noticed that he’s basically over 50… not only is that SUPER old, but considering he is a killer robot… that is some pretty damn impressive tech for the SIXTIES???

i mean sure, when he wasn’t obliterating random intruders, he acted pretty nice, but being abandoned for so long must have surely made him go insane,,

i mean, he talks to the luckylings as if they were real people so yeah

he still has one friend-daiki, but they dont see each other often after the incident
